:beercat:

My cat is a new user and he would like to say "thank you so much shroomery".

He has been cultivating mushrooms, primarily cubensis, for some years. The interest for mushroom cultivation and his projects have been "on and off" - some cultivation attempts with failure and some with great success.

Now he has found his ambitions back and managed to dig out an old Golden Teacher sporeprint from his earlier attempts and made some multispore syringes. These were inoculated into 1/2 print glasses filled with pressure cooked and well hydrated wheat berries. The glasses where incubated for app. 14 days.

Some substrate where used for some grain2grain inoculations for more spawn production and some others where mixed with coco-coir and poured into small trays. Only one out of three trays survived due to my cats lack of a sterile environment. Green mold had occurred. The tray that survived is fruiting at the moment.

Now the little rascal went to a local farmer and bought a bale of straw, which he had cut into smaller pieces - what a mess.
The chopped straw is soaking in a soap/water bath and is ready for past. later tonight. He is planning to make some straw-logs which he had tried som years ago with a huge success.

He would love to shoot some photos, so i will help him with this when he finishes his project.
