This game is so unbelievably shallow once you get past how amazing the graphics and sound design are.
Not even going to go any further besides saying that they threw out everything that was fun about battlefront, and fell through on a lot of the things people were looking forward to being in BF3.
Im just sad a gave in and dropped $60 on this crap excuse for a battlefront game. It might be fun for another few weeks at most, but that's a stretch in my mind.
EDIT: not to mention the complete lack of maps and weapons. they even took out classes for fucks sake.
it would be bearable if there was an engaging single player aspect of the game, but all we get is a shitty basic ass wave based pile of shat.
goddamn this game makes me mad  but ive been waiting 10yrs for this shit.

Maybe the mind numbing political correctness of the star wars pr machine carried over to the game. Was on the fence of buying this but I am glad I did not.
Hype for this game is over so it is good to read reviews of this and the posts. I think I will see the movie on redbox.

Story mode in shooters is always lame, I get started and then never touch it again.
They'll most likely add space battles at one point, in the mean time you can still play fighter squadron to have dog fights in the air

My girlfriend bought it for me.
When she asks me if i like it i have to grit my teeth and say yes
Shit sucks. I put ridiculous amounts of time into battlefront 2. This is just some EA garbage and i knew it. Season passes and dlc already, can you say cash grab.
Oh and why the fuck did they take out the galactic conquest and classes. That was literally the game right there.
Graphics however are incredible.

Copping out with that and purchasing it anyways is only a big  for them to continue doing it.
And its not only the fact that its there in the first place, its the sheer lack of content in the game that was supposed to be there in the first place, that they're gunna turn around and try to push on you as DLC for extra $$$.
Then there's still the fact that the game is a shit visual cashgrab overall LOL.

This was pretty much my re-action when I saw my friend playing it the other week, nothing special at all. Looks pretty though.

They really need to add a Campaign/Galactic Conquest.
