We need to be clear on the difference between Genus and species - Lophophora, Astrophytum, Trichocereus, Turbincarpus are GENERA !!!

A category for Trichocereus could be longest growth or something like that but maybe people in warmer climates would have an unfair advantage? I'm not sure....

Posting to follow along. Very interested in this. Do you think its possible to procure some pereskiopsis capable of grafting in time if started from seed?

When it comes to trichs along the pachanoi, Bridgesii and peruvianus lines I think the prize should go to the thickest growth. Maybe longest and thickest should be a point

Been following the thread but want this fed into 'My Threads'
-------------------- One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. 'Which road do I take?' she asked. 'Where do you want to go?' was his response. 'I don't know', Alice answered. 'Then', said the cat, 'it doesn't matter.'
