I just raise the substrate you can fill your tub with water if it doesn't have monotub holes. Then take a big kitchen knife and harvest the whole thing in a couple minutes. Drain the water out with a siphon or pour it carefully with your hand on the substrate
I doubt senescence but who knows. This isn't more than a few months old as a culture but I didn't clone clones like I have before haha

Wow amazing
I thought FAE is the most important thing when fruiting but in this case there are no holes.
So is this because the heat of the lamp ensures that the moisture on the surface evaporates ? Does it work without a light and without a fan ?

This gets more FAE than a monotub with polyfil holes. I don't do it with a fan. Did you read the OP? Ive never tried without the light but remember the light is off half the time anyway

yes I read it. It really looks amazing
I want to try it out, but I dont have a light to put it on. I can imagine that the evaporation of the surface through the heat of the light results in this amazing pinset. But I'm not sure

impressive, thanks for sharing it!
It's also possible to grow panaeolus like that, or it's not enough for air exanges?

Less is more! I'm currently running one of these tubs with 4 qts PE spawned to coir/verm and I'm impressed. Faster colonization than previous PE tubs I did a while back. After only 4 days I came home to this:
Thank you for this write up
