Alright guys, after intense reasearch, I solved the problem I posted a long post about some time back.
If you happen to want the fattest, longest, Zucchinni-Sized fruits you’ve ever had, keep the lid on these tubs completely sealed the entire time, no matter what stage it’s in.
At this point, I don’t even know if I’d recommend even one fan or mist to get pins started; they seem to enjoy %10,000 humidity and %0 oxygen.
I may have a PE strain and not know it (I sure think so), but there are now, in these tubs, some of the most record-bending fruits I’ve ever seen.
Don’t even take the lid off til harvest or until if by chance the fruits start to look slimey or *too* soggy. If you leave them completely alone and sealed, they create their own micro-climates and thrive the best and biggest in that way.
If the moisture gets too extreme (hardly even possible, they will love it) drill an airhole on top, just one, if you have extremely wet substrates; and with the new method said above, they actually don’t mind quite dry soil at all during following flushes; only one very heavy mist is need inbetween flushes, then re-seal til picking time.
The picking of flushes and original substrate laying will give all the oxygen exposure they will ever need. Expect a few side pins that will become massive and have no problems growing upward.
No lamp needed at all. Sit them under any ol’ window, any time of season, no hours are important using these steps above.
Ya’ll will thank me.
(P.S. They won’t be hollow either. They may grow upward and then back doward, not affecting size and weight or health. They’ll be strong af but this method can throw their sense of direction off once they’re halfway mature. They may often even rest on one another.)
And when I say all this, I’m exaggerating the immense size just a little, but imagine this as a “if you’re having trouble, THIS is the way to get practice and still have super-massive fruits that’d never have a chance of getting that big in the wild.” method.
Big’uns for Dummies.

They’re all currently dried and in storage but I have a fruit coming in between a flush that’s nearly Zuccini-sized and has a massive fuzzy “dress” going halfway up, it’s bizarre and beautiful.
It’ll be ready in a day or two. Tried a pic but my cam wouldn’t even focus with the strong moisture in the box, and even ONE opening of the lid more than once every 5 days severely seems to damage and stunt the strain I have.

It is way bigger in person, took up half my dehydrator and had to weigh the lid down with a huge glass mug.
Not hollow at all either. It’s like holding a puppy.

Jesus look at the inside of the stem, it´s a tree. Is that a mutation or what? Because cubensis as a species has a hollow stem, is this correct?

Yeah this is one from down the line in flushes. I have more that are this size but still not ready to pick. Trying to get that particlar one out was like trying to not to knock over bowling pins, literally I hit some of the others with my hand and they just bobbed and hit my hand back, to the point it felt like a human 2-year old slapped my wrist. They were getting rowdy with me.

I had to slice this beautiful boy open at many different sections just to dry it yep, %100 full body, no hollowness. I rarely ever get hollow cubes. This strain was a free bonus strain I got with my order. ‘Hillybilly Bumpkus’ or some crap. But it’s an amazing strain. Takes weird af grow methods (opposite to anything typical) but the yeild is quite something. The first flushes were fairly normal, on the larger side, but these 2nd flush monsters are insane.
Really though all the way around, the longer I’m leaving the tubs completely sealed (4+ days) the better and bigger they are getting.
P. S. This bad boy might of had 1/4th of an inch of hollowness midway up the stalk, can’t really tell now that it’s in the drier, but I’ve been extremely surprised in many grows just how filled with meat all my mushies are. I rarely find any that I slice open and get let down. This one mushie though is now my State Fair prize, biggest one I’ve had so far and I should have weighed it before drying.
I’ll let ya’ll know what it comes out to fully dried

Woulda been that big regardless imo. I routinely get 75-150 gram fruits from flush 3/4 off these oat/coir tubs. And I don't leave em sealed up.
If your spawn is healthy you should basically expect some fruits like that if you keep your sub around that long.

From this pic it´s easy to see that I´m a father of two, and that I´ve been to Ikea today. I bought three 35L tubs and ten 11L shoe boxes. I don´t plan on drilling holes into either, I plan on posting results here and in the shoe box thread. I just have a couple of things to go over with you bod about fruiting to see whats best for my setup. How much of a difference would it be between tubs that have the same bottom width and equally large substrate but one tub is 66L and the other is 35L? One thing I can think of the top of my head is that a larger volume of climate is more stabile than a smaller one. RH in the grow room is 60%, when mister is turned off RH goes down to 0% in 30 min. I have the hygrometer on the opposite side from where the mister is so I can get a "realer" reading on the humidity in the grow room.
This is my real question I´m wondering about; how much should I increase FAE after pinset? So that I have to mist 2-3 times a day? Or so that I have to mist 6-7 times a day? I know this question has fallacies but assume I´m spawning 10qt of total substrate in a short 35L tub. How would you roughly set the fruiting stage in my climate? I really want this to be a success, if it turns out that it´s not much of a hassle I won´t be drilling any more holes in tubs. peace
