4 quarts AA+ & 1 quart GT / 4 quarts coir straight up. Spawned on 8/28. I noticed my shoebox needed a heavy mist and this 56 quart needed a very light mist if at all after 2 days.

Just to get this straight, colonization conditions are with the lid right side down, no air gaps. Fruiting conditions are lid flipped upside down. That right?
Also, do I need to position a fan blowing on an adjacent wall like for standard monos, or is this one just good as is?

good as is in my experience. with no fan at all in a fairly still air room, when lifting the upside down lid to mist during fruiting maybe once or twice a day that's been plenty of FAE for me.

So I think one of my tubs has black mold - I let some substrate sit waiting for a 3rd flush and it just got a little too damp. I pushed it a bit too far. What can I douse that puppy in after I dump it to make sure it's mold free? My tub is the one used on this thread, with the foam seal. I'm thinking it'll be tough to decontaminate.
Luckily my other tub right next to it doesn't seem affected.

So far I'm really enjoying this tek, it's very easy. I'm not getting as widespread flushes as some, not really the whole tub, but a good %65 of the surface area will end up being fruits that are extremely thick, not all that short, and not hollow, I don't believe I have a PE strain but the conditions are making the fruits very heavy. Which I like. And if I get an .oz or more per flush when dried, I'm happy enough, and that's what's been going down... though I'm always looking to find what I can improve.

Shoot for 5 ounces per tub. I get 28 grams from a shoebox with 1 quart of spawn

I thought 1 ounce per quart was "good". I'll be at that level one day

Yeah I was seeing a qp per quart in my low spawn ratios test over 3 flushes. An oz per quart is kinda the bare minimum IMO. Keep setting your sights higher and the only place you go is up.

Anyone tried throwing the coir in the tub and pouring the boiling water in and locking the lid? Let it cool in the tub and then add spawn the next day..basically just skipping the bucket. Going to be my first go at it in a few days so just wondering.
