What the.. Anti gravity sub? How did you manage that.. Hahaha. Oh welll... Harvest them anyway.
I dont know. Those pins are lifting the substrate upwards. Those will be hard to harvest. I need to find a way to stop the side and bottom pins

Flipped the lid about 24 hours ago. Like 90% of the condensation that was on the walls is gone, and the surface doesn't look as nice as it did. As soon as I sprayed it from like 3 feet above alot of the myc went from fluffy to all wet and matted. not sure what that means.
Got the lid at an angle while I'm home. Mist like every hour or so I'm guessing? Just winging this shit

Every hour? I mist like 3-5 times ever if I just flip the lid and if I do the sideways lid thing it will get a misting that day

Mine started looking just like that recent picture above, almost identical, but not from misting but from humidity build-up on the surface before being what I'd say is near %100. The growth looks %95 on top, but about %50 under the surface, and the surface is mostly covered but the growth just looks rather weak and thin rather than strong and condensed. About %50 of the growth is so wispy that it looks like cobweb, and that's the growth that really grabbed all the moisture beads while the thick strong spots stayed drier.
It got so wet inside the bin simply from condensation and no misting that I had to flip the lid, and even rotate it an hour with the bulb on top, just to try and get the moisture to evap. I don't think the mycelium is near ready yet, but the moisture already put an extreme halt on the growth. And now, the whole tub has no condensation but the tiny beads all over the mycelium didn't evap one bit.
I've always had that problem with moisture just "sitting" on mycelium rather than evapping quickly, and it mats everything up and stops full growth. By the time I have pins, it's usually due to slight bacteria prompting them after ages of waiting rather than full consoliduzed soil or a full, healthy, quick flush. I don't know what I keep doing wrong. And I dunno what to do with the tub as it is.
The tester tray that I applied an emergency verm layer to now has a dozen pins or so, go figure.

Careful with that verm layer. Makes it hard to Judge surface conditions.

floated each for about 10 mins, then took about 15 mins to harvest. I flipped the sub while it was floating, then siphoned the water out now have a beauty of an even colonized surface that was on the bottom.. figured less damaging to gently flip it while fully floated, and it let me grab the couple side pins i had going...
heard flipping was good to do, i'm going to see what happens.
canopy tub 1486g wet almost tub 1389g wet.
between the two of them, should be just around 10oz dry.
kind of goes around the calculations of expecting ~1oz / quart jar dry.
BTW.. just oats and coir here. nothing crazy yet. going to maybe get frisky and add gypsum next time.
