Hmm...not as bad as I expected I guess for a first flush on a screwed up tray. And I'm digging the system. Low maintenance and good portability, scalability, and yield potential. I think my next tubs will overwhelm me with yield.

Can someone explain to me that fluffy looking mycelium on one side of the tub.
Also the color is darker on one side, is it because of overmisting or less misting?

For colonization you just set the lid on top right side up without clamping down the latches?

I removed all the clamps from tubs in order to fit side by side on my shelves.

I wonder if that has something to do with the sides drying out faster.. I'm almost At fruiting. Mine are looking like they'll take 9-10 days to hit where yours was in that 5 day pic. But i mixed a bit of extra coir into the top inch on those. On the tubs that i didn't mix any coir into the top layer, they are almost at the same stage as the ones 3 days ahead.
Learned a lesson about tubbing there.
My major panic time hit when i try to figure out how to mist andwhatnot .
I bought a flairosol mister, those things are beautiful and only cost like 15$
Thinking i'm going to be very gentle on misting and only if i see zerodroplets . In my mini tester tupperware i noticed that water pools VERY easily and i turned it upside down to let the water drop out.
Curious as to just how many pumps of a mist should be considered enough at a single time.. Pump just once? Or like 5 pumps.. Because it accumulated with a couple pumps, but is a single pump more often better than a bunch of pumps once a day..
If i flip the lid and don't touch it, will that be enough, or maybe a single pump a day..
Wondering about the misting because i'm about to hit 100% colonisation and want to be ready for what to do next.

I just put this tub and another together two days ago. Used bods oat tek, buket tek for coir, and I'm using an unmodified tub but not the specific one. They were so cheap I couldn't pass them up, I'm hoping they will work okay. If not ill get the right tub next time lol. Sorry for the bad quality photos I need a real camera.

First tub is plugging along, doing it's thing...awesome thick meaty fruit coming:

Second tub that I've been super conscious about misting lightly and not letting get matted with moisture:

Should give better results this second time around.

First two tubs flipped the lids.. Noticed some pooling on one end of tub.. Tilted it above the sink and let the water run out. Leaving overnight, going to see how the tubs do with little to no misting at all with lids just flipped and doing the 90 flip for an hour or two each evening.. See how this goes. Other 4 tubs will be in a couple days and i'll take pictures then.

Love the unmodified tub tek! How is she looking? 20 quart tub spawned 1 quart to 2 quart substrate with MS. 2x40 watt T12 fluorescent.

Time to harvest!
Question though, i touched them earlier, they feel hard (unlike my previous monotub where shrooms were soft to touch). Is this normal?

Maybe a bit cooler this time around?
