Im sure youre correct. I still have to good tubs and hopefully this one will atleast get a single flush. Everything else turned put perfect so far so bound to be a failure somehwere.

Hey bodhhi, quick question regarding this tek..... u keep the lid clipped close air tight until 50-90% colonization or u leave the lid upside down? Sorry, I was a bit confused in the wording. Thanks in advance

Hey bodhiboy, maybe you could help me out. When you transferred to tub to mix spawn and sub... do you just lock the lid air tight for colonization? what was your process?

Air tight is not necessary or even healthy

JewishLawyer said: So Bodhi,
just wanted to clarify, when you first mix the spawn with the substrate you put the lid on the bin upside down to allow for some FAE and GE?
I'm assuming this would keep co2 levels high enough to avoid early pinning but do you keep the lid on upside down during the whole substrate colonization process?
EDIT: Nevermind, just read through all your comments and saw that you just leave the lid on regular without clicking the latches
ok, found this for clarification. thanks

Nah it's OK . a lot. Of people starve their tubs of light, oxygen, and gas exchange. It does not good for any part of it. You want all three from The beginning, however, some people limit Fae until colonization to a certain point occurs.. Try a couple. Approaches and see what works. But darkness, and foil or film isnt good.

Thanks. This is my first run ever. I was surprised enough to see healthy spawn grain bags up to this point. I just transferred to tub today so I was scrambling for answers. I generally spend a lot of time reading through these forums. I just second guessed myself. Thanks for the good vibes

So I can only get little. Stringy. Guys for Next flush. Little pins here and there.. Turning. Into Very small, but pretty Mushrooms. Considering I used 7q spawn, I thought I would At least get a second and third flush. The tub still looks great. I've also soaked it. Any advice would help.

Got some pics? I had that happen with a container once and did some bottom watering and they shot right back up in mass. Wouldn't recommend anything like that here though and would wait to see pics and see what Bod says...
