Should this be colonized more after 4 days? I've been misting when the coir turns a lighter color and the lid has been upside down.

Ya something not right. Lid upside down as in flipped? Latch it and you won’t have to mist. Prob too dry at surface.
Edit: thought I was in shoebox thread
You have a fan on it?

This is a great idea but it isn't working for me. I hit the Caluclate button and it either resets everything to a poop/verm/etc bulk or gives an output of all zeros. Thank goodness I listened to my 4th grade math instruction!
Plus, it's got all kinds of sketchy-looking adds and links and a big red "Not Secure" in the URL field.
Interesting, Ive been using it for years, no ads and it always gives me accurate info. Oh well, I tried.
Im 7 days into my first unmodded tub per this tek. I think it's looking pretty good so far. Itll be my first grow starting with agar as well. Pretty stoked to see the results!

This is day 5 of my tub spawned on 2-20. It is a burma 5 qrt spawn to 1-650g brick coir with a sudo casing of coir. The pictures are before and after misting. Hows it look?

Looks alright but how do you have exposed grain with a coir top layer?

Mixed spawn to bulk 2/16/20. First time growing shrooms. Had to place a 5 pound weight on top of the lid for proper FAE. Hows it looking?

Big thank you, Bodhisatta.
Also big thank you to all the folks that have asked and answered questions here.
Just harvested my first shrooms ever without straying from the 'Everything you need in one spot' link. Except for using the search for questions of course.
You all are doing damn fine work here.

Well its been about 9 days now since I mixed in the grains. The surface doesn't seem that colonized. Although the surface has a very light white color to it, but not like some of the colonized tubs I've seen in the forums. I did notice white little dots appearing, which can be seen in the photo. Can anybody identify what they are?

Also, I notice a lot of condensation on the inside of the tubs when people post their pictures, however mine doesn't have any...does this indicate dry substrate?

It does look a little dry.
Also looks like knots popping up. About right for 9 days.

Should I wait another day to harvest? 13 days from start of spawn run. Some of the veils have broken but the gills aren’t black yet.

I’d give them another 8-12 hours probably.
You could cut the caps off the ones that might drop spores sooner.

This one is still a little wonky but I think more shrooms than the first one.
The air flow and water situation is taking some figuring out.
This is from 4 qts Burma spawn.

Has anyone experienced knots arriving [maybe too soon] with only 95-98% surface colonization?

Ya it's fine I'd only be concerned with early pinning if it's like 75% colonized or less. That might a sign of issues but 90%+ ?
Youre fine
