Ok, next time I will run with measurement instead of how the depth appears

Got me a thick forest, even if they are little shorties

No side pins was killer.
I was stoked about this pinset, but not the fruit height. Would like to improve thatβ¦.don't know if its because I spawned slightly wet, or needed to bottom water, or its genetics, sub depth etcβ¦.

And it worked - seeing now healthy growth and only a few cakes aren't sprouting. Now, the cakes aren't fully sprouting like others ive seen here, and sometimes the stems are really thin and weak.
Temperature is around 73* and humidity constant around 85-90%, with 12/12 lightning outside of the translucent tubs. I've been misting 3-4 times per day on intervals when I see them dry.
I feel like they should be thicker and taller. Given the above specs, did I / am I messing something up? Does the temp need to be higher (my first guess)?
One other problem I have is verm sticking to the bottom, should I be cutting them off with a knife rather than plucking them from the cakes?
Tks, SC
This is a bulk substrate tek... not for cakes: might be the root of your issue?
My temps are 68-70, so not an issue at 73... don't obsess about maintaining 90% rh... evaporation is a pinning trigger and can't occur if you mist obsessively...

Yea you put cakes in this monotub. Not exactly what it's for but you could probably make it work with some experience.

Looks good. Get the weight first then worry if they're too small. Might be surprised how much you got there

It came to 109g dry from 5qt MS GT. Not sure how that stacks up. Is there an amount to shoot for to "nail it"?

Aww shucks, make a girl blush.
The only thing I had to change was lower the FAE until I got pins. I just left the lid open and ajar, but not flipped. If I flipped the lid early the corners would dry out fast and get matted. Once it seemed like I had all the pins, then I flipped it.
Thanks for the solid teks that work.

Yea certain times of years i have the "corner problem" a bit more than others. Just too much FAE can always dial it back like you did till pins
It's funny the arm chair quarterbacks will say this tek and tub get no FAE and on the other hand say tubs dry out too quickly. Which is it lol. Anyone who can handle dialing in and making adjustments will do well like you did.

Will likely be hell to keep hydrated in subsequent flushes...

4qts spawn to 3qts coir? Seems like 1:1 is harder to keep hydrated than 1:2, and that 1:0.75 would be harder still...

And dunking between flushes would hydrate the sub again anyway.
