Microscope... but it's either way too wet or bacterial... and if it's that wet, I'd suspect it had stalled or taken a long time to grow out... at any rate, it's probably gone anaerobic and not far off from stalling completely... then you could open GE a little (risky)... idk, how long to this point? How did you inoculate? (MSS >grain or?) Any yellow or amber/brown fluids (like sap)

This bag has actually grown faster than the others (I am not sure how to guage the anaerobic-ness of this)
I am on day 7
here is my set up

I used a sterile needle in an air box that was sanitized with 70% and lysol. The needle was also hit with the blue flame torch for added measure. Gloves used. Ports cleaned.
Here are some additional pics

I don't think you should try to open up GE, the bags are designed so that GE is allowed for.

UPDATE
Youre right Caps
I pulled the duct tape label off and there was a black or dark green spot in the core of that large white mass ... so obviously something is off with this one
So I am chalking this one up to trial and error.
How - just for informations sake - do I tell whats real and whats contam moving forward?
The other bags seems to have white whispy cotton candy like growth and I am assuming thats the good stuff
appreciate any and all feedback

Are the sitting on end? Lay one on it's side, and see if the moisture starts to build on that side... if so ,it's too wet(may still grow out)... I'd rotate it every few days,to keep the excess water (if that's what's up) from pooling... might be just fine, but seems super wet, those other pics don't look as bad, but iI don't like the color on the top right corner personally: shrug:,anyone else?

its strange tho because the edges of the large white mass do look like cotton candy but the core looks different

Only way to know is to isolate some strains and see... all the cubensis varieties (and clones (still not a single strain) ) that I've grown do exceptionally well

Hey! I've been following this TEK with great success! I used 16qt tub with 1q of spawn. I've used oats without hulls (unfortunately that what I got, but hey it worked). Used 100g of coco coir, also added little bit of verm because why not .
When my tub started exploding with knot clusters I was really worried because there was almost no pins on the top but everywhere else (heavy knotting on sides and bottom). So I've painted sides with permanent marker, and cased it with 30g of coir. The idea was to make better environment on top for pinning. I don't know if it was actually necessary.
The mycelium colonized coir casing very fast. At first it fruited mostly from the corners. I've noticed that the parts that were colonized later fruited first. The corners of tub were not mixed properly so I could see heavy rhysomorphic growth there before. And in the end all the pins on the sides fortunately enough aborted. (sorry for my english)
So I pick the mushrooms now for 5 days and I already got 30g cracker dry and its still fruiting. Its probably on the end of its cycle though. Its my first ever grow, and I'm amazed with results. Thank you Bod! Sorry for all the mistakes I've made

Light is not a pinning trigger, only full colonization and FAE... coloring the sides will do nothing to prevent side or bottom pins
