What size tubs are these, the 54?

So I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but I'm wondering if I actually need to take more action than I have.
I have a couple tubs that had too much FAE and not enough attention, and the surface blued from drying out a little.
The air situation has been addressed, so I'm hoping for a full recovery, but does anybody have any experience ressurecting a dried surface? Like how long it took to recover, and special steps I should take, etc?
I'm kinda wondering if the entire substrate dried a little, and if I should bottom water it. If that's true, it would have pulled away from the sides of the tub, yeah? (No liner, and black tubs, so it's impossible to see anything deeper down)

Quick question about the handel gaps...
I don't know if this is just a new model of the 54q sterilite tub, but there's a gap around the whole lid. should i just flip it upside down and see what happens?
the spawn is millet, and i don't know how much i used exactly but, well, there it is. 800g coir to 4 L distilled water. cooked overnight in a picnic cooler.
this is my first tub like this so i'm a bit worried about the substrate drying out.

ya I know it's not even.. i'll manage.

Everyone's tubs and situation is different so just dial it in and you'll be good. There is not even that much to dial. Basically if it's getting dry too fast it needs less fresh Air. Easy, make the adjustments

Not sure if others have tried this, but after nursing along a substrate with a pretty dried out surface for a while (thin film, cracked, bluish) and harvesting an ok first flush, I laid down a thin casing layer of coir, which seemed to help a lot (the whole sub was soaked in water for a bit during harvesting as well, of course, so that likely helped too). After that, there was nice myc growth popping through the casing after a few days and I was quite sure I was on the way to a nice second flush.
Unfortunately, my wife made me dump the tub when we left town for a couple weeks (something about the person house sitting finding it, blah blah , so I threw it in a trash can in the backyard and covered it with some old potting soil. Returned last night to a trash can with a bunch of shrooms growing in it!

Isn't the TEK to flip the lid upside down?

Alright, it's been kind of a rough go, after such a promising start, with a style of tub I've never done before in a new location without nearly as much access as I'd like, but recovery efforts underway. As soon as we took away the excess FAE and started misting more heavily, pins started appearing. Mostly around the edges, and it's probably not going to be much of a first flush, but it's not dead yet!

Hopefully after a full dunk and a better understanding of the conditions, second flush can be a great one.
The casing idea isnt a terrible one either. Maybe I'll give that a shot, although I have a feeling dunking and just not drying it out again will be good enough.
