You sure that's mold? Don't want to get your hopes up too much, but it could just be myc.... could be myc.

They could be, but personally I'd just pick the larger ones and leave the small ones.. people cut fruits and leave the stumps all the time with no problems; they just fuzz up with myc like Mush showed. Up to you.

Press n seal makes for an awesome lid... sticks and resticks over and over and you can poke syringe holes.. takes about a minute

They’re great because you can modify the amount you want to pull it back too and put as many or as little holes in it you want..
Here’s a shot of the pin holes

Here’s one showing how easy it is to pull back if you want to

You can pick the early birds or just cut the caps off when they open up if you don’t want to disturb any clusters they’re attached to

Queso said: This tub was spawned on the 10th and it pinned strong on the 22nd but now hasn’t done much for a half a week or so, any help on what’s going on here ? They’ve looked like this for probably five days no change

That looks like it’s stalled... I’ve had that happen.. the fruits start out healthy looking and then stop at a certain point.. even new pins come up and do the same thing. Could be a bacterial culture.. maybe make another small tub of the same culture and see if it does the same thing.. if it does, the culture is trash. If it doesn’t, it’s an isolated incident if that tub

Not sure it’s as much antibacterial as it is anti-spore germination... that being said (can’t help but think of curb your enthusiasm every time I say that lol) I’d much rather there have a slight bacterial problem than a mold problem. I think there’s only one way to find out... do iiiit. I’d just clean up as best you can and rock them tubs.

Tedsdeads casing strategy. Apply 1/2” peat based casing right as they fully colonize.. once the casing is fully colonized, case again with 1/2”.. patch until pins. Keep casing moist.. I usually have to mist every other day
