Woodlovers that grow in Zone 9a (very hot!)
    #22337796 - 10/05/15 05:41 PM (8 years, 3 months ago)

Since winter is coming up. What woodlovers (and any other shrooms) can survive my hardiness zone. Here are the temperature ranges of my city for the upcoming months?

Can't think of any that could reliably survive Houston.  It gets pretty damn warm in TX in the winter sometimes.  Maybe about 2 months of actual coldness total, still with warm days sprinkled in.

Best sticking with pans and cubes for TX outdoor stuff, unless you mean edibles but someone already pointed you to the right place for those in another thread of yours.

Ps alleni would probably do the trick. I have seen them in places where summer temps are much hotter and dryer than Houston.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.
