by the way this was all a hilarious and sly marketing scheme to make you read this post, which i suppose explains the ridiculousness of my original oppinion.

ok the real purpose of this post was to give an example of what i believe should not be allowed on this forum because it degrades the quality of the debates and reduces the potential for meaningfull topics.
A. saying something is equal to something else is not an argument. Support that oppinion
example: telekenisis=hard fact or telekinesis=utter bullshit. FIne but that is not suffiecient to merit a post and is not in any sense valid argument, evidence or rebuttal
2.Dont start a thread in a forum if you dont want other people to reply. DOnt say i know im right so dont even try to disagree
3.Dont say something stupid as the whole point of your post and then much later claim it was all sarcasm or a 'marketing ploy'
either your A. making a lame attempt to cover your failure to support your original idea by saying you never believed it in the first place
or B. were really being sarcastic and thus made everyone waste a shitload of time disagreeing with an oppinion which was not only ridiculous but you never actually held.
of course this is primarily directed at positronius and his PHILOSOPHERS ARE INSTURMENTS OF THE DEVIL thread, i was driven to making this post because of his repeated refusal to comply to my requests that he stop making arguments in the vein of "this = this, its uncontenstable, of course you cant fucking contest it, dont even bother youll look stupid" but it applies to any poster. THese are simple rules and i think that they are easy to follow and maintain the integrity of this board. This is not a flame at positronius (i dont think anyone would think it was but just in case) so please, its just common sense. DOnt waste our time

I personally don't have a problem with someone commenting on your thread ie "great read " It would be nice if people state *why* it was a good read but if they don't who cares? do yall want essays for replies?
