So, you're either:
Eugene Byrd
Lance Henriken
Michael Wincott
or John Scholfield .
none of those people are 'extras'.

Haha alright, all is forgiven. You have me beat. I still haven't seen Barry Lyndon or the second half of Full Metal Jacket because the DVD I rented started skipping right when it switched from the barracks to Vietnam. I wholeheartedly agree with your final point.

Easy Rider, Ordinary People, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Night of the Hunter, Rosemary's Baby, Deliverance...i used to watch alot of movies.
i remember when i rented Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer on VHS... VHS.
mentally scarring potentially but i like scars, chicks dig them.

i rented Berry Lyndon on VHS...the only bathroom break was after part 1 during the interlude.
yeah that's weird, i think i got the collection after i saw Clockwork and FMJ because we had them on DVD by themselves first, and it's weird, it was the same cases as the collection boxes, so i guess they were probably got at some convenience store or something.
that sticks out to me, watching Barry Lyndon on VHS. i used to have this thing where i didn't want to pause the movie...but that movie gave me a break, thankfully, three fuckin' hour movies.

Night of the Hunter has some damn amazing cinematography. And the lighting in that scene with the old lady in the chair and dude outside the window is ridiculously awesome.

Yeah I really need to see that one. I've seen some stills and the candle lighting they use looks awesome.

and the whole river scene is a trip. definitely one of the top films for beautiful scenery...maybe a runner up would be like...Stalker, or something.

No doubt. The animals in the foreground as they are going down the river. That's a damn good movie. Haven't seen Stalker yet.
In this film appreciation class I had in high school we watched Jeremiah Johnson, and the teacher kept saying "look at the scenery, look at the scenery." I think everyone's favorite part was "I make damn good biscuits."

well, i remembered something important, i can't just let that slide.
Requiem for a Dream and Pi were also influential to me in my appreciation of film. well worth it.
i'm trying to think of others that was back in the day, but i honestly can't remember too much...Scarface i guess, but that's more of an "action" movie to me. i dunno....after 2007 i stop losing count.
but yeah...meeeemooorriiieeesss.

haven't seen that one yet. boy i've looking up a whole shat-load of Western movies recently. oh shit that reminds me...i was gonna watch They Live! for the first time tonight, i might get on that soon.(and i wanna see Rio Bravo again, i saw it on Turner once with Who Shot Liberty Vance and...boy both those are fucking GOLDEN - still have yet to see them again)
and am gonna download Man With a Movie Camera - it looks reminiscent of Bruce Conner's A Movie.
i wanna see it good quality and shit but THAT ALSO is on youtube. you should check it out maybe...you might dig it, but at the very least, if you want to check out something quicktimes, you should look up Bruce Conner A Movie on the tub...it may make you laugh and it's short as fuck.
i haven't kept up! i used to get high - watch movie - get high - play awesome video games - get high - listen to albums and albums - get really high and listen to more music.
now i read and find out about tons of movies and games that i dont' end up getting to, and i don't blast tunes 24/7 anymore! and barely get high.
growing old sucks! it sucks Big Bertha tits!

I used to watch a bunch of horror movies mostly. A Clockwork Orange was my favorite movie for a couple years after I watched that somewhere in my late teens. Halloween was my favorite before that. The Shining and Goodfellas were a couple of the more serious ones I watched before really getting into movies.
They Live! is so ridiculous. In a good way. I watched Man with a Movie Camera a few years ago, but I don't remember it all that well. I'll have to check out A Movie.
