All that off season talk about how the Warriors got lucky and had an easy path to the finals last season, and how they couldn't do it again, really just pissed them the fuck off. They're on a mission, man. They're trying to obliterate everything in their path.

He won coach of the month even though he technically hasn't gotten a single win to his name.

You know he's going to draw some serious interest for a HC job somewhere though.
Edit: Obviously you know because you said the exact same fucking thing already.

Lol that's weird, man. I mean part of me gets it...it's Kerr's system and Kerr's squad, but at the same time, Walton is HC'ing the team while he's gone...kinda messed up that he doesn't get credit for those lol

It could go either way for me.
I could see it not counting because you could also say GS isn’t even Kerr’s team. Mark Jackson & Company assembled that group.
I could see it counting because even if it is a ferrari it still needs a driver that deserves credit as well. We see so called “superstar” teams play like shit every year *cough* LAC *cough*
My Jazz may be taking some dick. After fucking up what should have been a win against GS, Rudy Gobert is gonna be out for a while now. Jazz need to be able to close out games against elite teams, they should have beaten the cavs earlier this year then they let Lebron beat em down the stretch, likewise they should have beaten GS but they let Curry beat em down the stretch.
The team is there ability wise they just need to start closing out.

The highlights of the end of that Jazz GSW were pretty crazy
I agree with the poster above who said the Warriors are about going back to back. They're not going to compromise anything going for regular season records.

They have to, only people who have a chance are the Cavs and well see if they can stay healthy.
GS has that same stipulation but they proved last year they could.

I thought the lakers did it back with Shaq & Kobe. Bulls definitely won 3 in a row.

Bulls won 3 in a row twice. During the 2 years in between when Jordan was gone, Houston won both. The old Celtics won 8 consecutive. The NBA is a newer league than MLB, NFL or NHL, but the Celtics have won close to 25% of all NBA championships, which is the best of the 4 leagues.

Yup--73-9 would be a much greater feat than winning back To back championships in my opinion

Ain't no regular season record better than a ring.
If The Splash Brothers collapsed in the playoffs because they wasted their energy chasing 73 games they'd be The Hawks.

I'm not sure what you guys mean by "chasing 73 games". It's basketball, you go out every night to win. Why would winning 73 games take more energy than losing 73 games?

There is this thing called rest. Some humans need it to perform at their best come playoff time. I'm not sure Steph is one of them. But he could be. Chasing 73 wins might not allow for that. Or it might, if they continue to crush opponents like they have so far.
