Doing my first grow - any input greatly appreciated

Hey guys,
So as a long-time Shroomery lurker and magic mushroom enthusiast, I would like to start my first grow.
I would like to grow a lot of mushrooms, even though it is my first grow. I know that some members are going to advise against doing this and maybe call me greedy but the size of this project is the reason why I am posting this thread.
I have been collecting a good amount ($400-$500) of cash to make this project of mine happen, so I am not on a budget. Whatever you guys suggest is necessary for a better outcome, I will do it.
However, I have a few constraints. I am going to be doing my grow in a closet that has the following dimensions: Length: 53" Width: 24" Maximum height: 67"
For the Inoculation Process, I have bought the items below:
1) 24 16oz, 1-Pint Mason Jars (480ml capacity) - Costs $40 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VDYUJI
2) 8-Quarts of Vermiculite - Costs $12 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Y06KTE
3) 4 24-Ounce bags of Bob’s Red Mill Brown Rice Flour - Costs $17 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VLVD50
4) Micropore Tape (1 roll) - Costs $4 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003XCPAYI
5) 60cc’s of Golden Teacher spores - Costs $56
6) A pressure cooker - Costs $90 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000BYCFU/
7) Alcohol burner lamp - Costs $8 http://www.amazon.com/SEOH-Alcohol-Burner-Flint-Glass/dp/B0018BJW6S
The Inoculation Process has cost me $229 in total.
I am looking for a good, beginner friendly substrate to spread my mycelium. What would you guys suggest?
Thanks.

Maybe go grain if you are going bulk?

Welcome to the Shroomery, check out the link in my signature on bulk. Also the one on agar.

Get into agar and bulk after you have brf cakes down! Check out the Pasty's Easy Agar Tek in my signature. One 10cc syringe of GT would last you a lifetime if you get into agar! However if you're doing multiple brf jars, I guess it's not too bad considering you're spending substantially less money than if you bought a silly grow kit. But why grow in a closet? Your grow is going to need plenty of fresh air exchange. Otherwise, it sounds good. Don't forget to build your sgfc.

When you say to expand your mycelium, are you talking about wanting to spawn your brf cakes to a bulk substrate... or are you thinking later on after you do those cakes wanting to try bulk?

Since you already got the PC, I'd recommend jumping right into bulk. Get yourself a bag of whole oats from the local feed store ($20) and follow a good tek. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/21121313/fpart/all/vc/1 http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/21029762/fpart/1/vc/1/nt/9
Also, pick up a 12 pack of wide mouth quart mason jars (12$) and some synthetic filter discs for GE. Drill a 1/4" hole on your jar lid and use high temp RTV silicone to glue it to the top (use a small quarter sized cutout of your filter disc).
PC for 90 minutes at 15 psi, remove from heat, let cool for a couple of hours, and they're ready to use!
Ideally, you could just start working with agar now, then make the jars. Agar lets you see clean growth before moving to your grains, so you can have healthy spawn, before mixing with your substrate. It'll save you a lot of time and stress. Here's the one most growers use, it's really not that difficult, just read it over a couple of times and watch all the videos at the end http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/19208976
And last but not least, build yourself a functional SAB. Working in still air is key to success in this hobby. Here's a good tek: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/20048771
and welcome to the shroomery!!

I wonder which one of our agar links he will choose?

Welcome and good luck. Grab a tek and follow it, takes notes along the way. Rye Berries soaked in weak coffee, boiled. Pinch of gypsum ea. jar, then PC'd works wonderfully with Cubes. There is Teks related. Some good bulk substrates: Aged Horse Poo, Straw, Coco coir, etc.. supplemented with Gypsum, hydrated lime, coffee. Do your research and takes notes. Establish consistency before experimentation

Hey guys, thanks a lot for the thoughtful answers.
So, for the Fruiting Process, I will be buying the following:
For the Fruiting Process, I will be buying the items below two weeks after I inoculate my jars:
1) Two grow houses - Costs $55 each http://www.shroomsupply.com/grow-room-supplies/4-tier-5-ft-mushroom-greenhouse
2) Some casing/substrate for the fruiting process of the mushrooms - Costs $?
3) Plastic boxes/trays to use
4) Two air humidity controllers - Costs $28 each http://www.amazon.com/IMAGE%C2%AE-Digital-Humidity-Control-Controller/dp/B009VY1ANM
5) Two indoor humidity monitors - Costs $10 each http://www.amazon.com/AcuRite-00613A1-Indoor-Humidity-Monitor/dp/B0013BKDO8
6) Several light sources (?) - Costs $9 each (how many should I buy?) http://www.amazon.com/GE-Lighting-89095-replacement-1600-Lumen/dp/B002YEXMUK/
7) Water source (a good water sprayer) - Costs $8 http://www.amazon.com/Empty-Amber-Glass-Spray-Bottle/dp/B00MU7R52M/
8) Sterilization indicator monitor - Costs $0.50 http://www.shroomsupply.com/lab-supplies/sterilization-indicator-monitor-121deg-c-250deg-f
I know many of you will go against this, but I still want to grow my mushrooms in bulk. I am interested in making a bunch of monotubs and putting them in my grow houses.
Here are some pictures of my closet. It is not really a closet, it's just a space within my bedroom meant to be used to store clothes
http://imgur.com/a/v2zBR
Obviously I am going to remove the stuff inside and make it fully empty.
The metal you see under the metal rack is right in the middle of the closet, it is 28" away from both of the walls.
I figured out pretty much what to buy. Now I have to look through and find the best bulk substitute to use to spread my mycelium.
How much yield would you guys estimate from this project? I know this may vary, but I just want to have a number to aim for.
Thanks!!

You don't put monotubs in greenhouses, here's how you do bulk http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17897163#17897163 All you need to grow pounds of mushrooms is grains, totes, reptile bedding, vermiculite, a PC, jars and spores. Read read read before you buy a bunch of stuff you don't need.

Save yourself some money man, the two growhouses/air humidity controllers/ and the sterilization indicator monitor are completely unnecessary. If you construct your monotub correctly, and stuff the polyfill according to growing conditions, you won't have to worry about the humidity levels at all.
And you said you bought a Presto pressure cooker, which has a pressure gauge meter. Once the needle reaches 15 psi, set your timer for 90 minutes. No need for any other measurement, trust the PC.

It doesn't sound like you've read any of these links or are even listening to anyone's advice at all.
Set monotubs in your closet - DONE. No grow houses or humidity controllers. All that shit is built right into a <$10 plastic tote.
Gotta walk before you can run OP.
