If it's muscaria (var. guessowii; please wait for an expert opinion), then one way to get a purer muscimol experience is to feed them to your reindeer and then drink their pee pee.

If you are able, please post a picture of the base of the stem for confirmation.
Extracting muscimol is easy. Boil them, drink the liquid...thats a rough extraction method. However its better to convert the ibotenic acid first...
I reccomend Dehydrating them to a crisp under low heat. Then either eating the mushroom as is...or then boil the dried parts and consume the liquid. If you have any questions please ask.

Dang man, did you break them all off? It is VERY important to pick the entire mushroom for propper ID. Especially in the amanita genus, the base of the stems provide all the info as to concentric rings, volva, sacks, etc.
Im looking for a volva that has concentric rings around the base. If you see that, post a picture. otherwise im not sure anyone here is going to take the chance of confirming that as Amanita Ameri-Muscaria...just not worth the risk
