ha, hadn't seen that either.
Doesn't sound the behavior of a raccoon to me. 1: actually holding the jar? pretty heavy 2: walking towards him on hind legs? I see a lot of raccoons and I've never once seen one take a step while on its hind legs.
then again I am quite suspicious of mckenna.

They do man. When I was a kid I had a family of them break into my house. We had screen windows and they actually cut threw them and got inside the kitchen and took a plant cover off a soup pan and were eating the sloppy joes. I've seen them open door knobs too. Those fuckers are sneaky

Someone who isn't me (SWIM) had a similar experience with throwing their spent cakes into the garden and having the squirrels come by and eat them.

Little mother fuckers! I was still coming down from the cid at that point and it was legitimately freaking me out, its like they were trying to get inside the yurt lol. It sure didn't take them long to sniff out that food when we were eating outside for a minute there. Good times

They do for sure man. When i was in detox there was always this pack of raccoons outside by the smoing area..all of us would feed them and they walk right up to us and eat the food right from our hands. It became such a distraction that they now have a sign "DO NOT FEED THE RACOONS".
They never bit anyone and are super friendly. Their thumbs are fucking CRAZY. Just like human thumbs. Exactly like them. You almost feel as if they are a long lost ancestor or something when you see up close and personal just how human-like they are.

Nah..well in my case..hes very refreshing because i know he loved/took psychs as seriously as i do. If McKenna was exactly who he was but didn't love/talk about psychs as much as he did, i would not love him half as much as i do.
He also is a very smart dude. Humble. Honest. Just a good man.
Whats not to take serious? Hes just a man who makes mistakes and gets some things wrong. But compared to the other people in this world, i don't see anyone i should take much more seriously.
In a world where we psych users find it hard to relate to other people...McKenna is a God-send.

Yep Mckenna was always humble and didn't take himself too seriously he took the psychedelics seriously though. It's his haters who take him too seriously proably because they take themselves too seriously .

McKenna told tales. He was a story teller; an entertainer. Yet so many people take his stories for gospel. Hence far too seriously.

He didnt just tell stories and entertain. To sum him up like that is foolish.

Mckenna bridged the gaps in knowledge where others couldn't see it. Divided knowledge is no knowledge at all
