i boiled an ounce and a half in 12 cups of water about 15 days ago. After the boiling was complete i thoughtlessly put the pot in the fridge without a lid because i was in a rush. Me and my partner got in a terrible argument so i didnt tend to the fluid for 15 days. I had initially planned on freezing the brew in containers immidiatly after extraction. Before i funneled the brew into a jug (after the 15 days in the fridge) i noticed a white film had developed on the surface of the liquid and sides of the pot that had been moist ( it appeared to have the consistency of yogurt. And looked similar to the strands in egg drop soup just to give you a visual) i believe it is a form of mold. Thhe fluid itself also became darker, if my research serves me correctly this indicates oxidation.. i have since frozen the mysterious mixture but am not sure if its safe to consume i really dont want to toss out an ounce in a half.. please share your opinions or personal experiences or even research that applies thank you much! Noome i know has a clue and i cant find anything through research engines.

Idk if it's totally safe but if you boil it it will kill any bacteria in there.
Boiling doesn't remove toxins from molds and stuff though so there's still a risk.
A 20 second boil should make it ok though IMO

reboiling it would definitely be the safest way to go, thanks for your input!. Do you think any of the psilocybin could be lost through the heat or percipitated through the steam if i reboiled...

Nope not if you only boiled it for around 20 seconds it should be sufficient to kill the bacteria if there was any, and keep all of the potency intact.

right. m definetely going to try that. I refuse to throw it away. Im gonna research bacteria and mold prior. But if it still is a little sketch im sure i can find someone who wouldnt mind the risk for a free trip haha!!! ill update the thread with my discovery!
