I love to cook so I'm going to try and make money at it. In theory it's going to be perfect!

school is an option but you won't have any credit until you work your way up. if you love to cook food it can be fun, but generally you don't cook anything you want and it isn't what you might think it should be.
if you get an option to be creative then good on you but generally you just make the same boring 10 to 20 dishes forever.
edit, doing pork tonight with mashed potatoes, cauliflower, and something else... will take a picture though

I'm tired of working in kitchens, its been a few years since I worked in one, but still tired of it.
Love cooking outside of work though.
Today Lentil burritos with calypso sauce, nothing special.

I'm going to try my first ever pressure cooker meal. I've got a couple of chicken breasts, potatoes, carrots and onion. So it sounds like it going to be a chicken soup? So this meal from what I've been reading should have a cook time of about 10 minutes cook minus the prep time of ten minutes..
I don't have a recipe I'm following as yet so we'll see..

Yeah tried the chicken and dumplings in a pressure cooker. First time cooking in a pressure cooker Cut all the veggies and chicken with 4c of water with bullion cubes. I'm like ok 12 minutes cook time after it starts rockin, easy!
12 minutes are up and I need to add the dumpling mixture. So I let it cool down for a bit and having never used a PC for cooking and never used a Presto b4. For Mycology I have AA 921 ANYWAY I let it for a few and take of the rocker! It fucking spews liquid all over the stove and I'm just like FUCK. I mean what are you going to do? A fucking a PC spewing hot steaming chicken juice liquid, you just stand back and say, well I won't do that again!
After it stops and I take it the sink I put in the dumpling mixture and the 6 minutes later I have a tasty chicken and dumpling soup.
Well my old lady goes this ain't chicken and dumplings, this ain't 'southern' style, it's not thick enough.. I'm like ok, all I have to do is make a slurry and bring it back up to a boil, easy..
She Google's a picture and shows me.. I made the slurry and thickened it up. But my first attempt at PC cooking was good. The soup was done quickly and had a ton of flavor, that you can't beat, but still need to work on technique. I never really liked the idea of cooling a PC down with cold water but it looks like I will have to do it..
Not a picture worth meal but good none the less
Peace

Lol yea those 750ml bottles are deceivingly small. Like 5 martinis and it's gone. At least the 1.75 liters don't make you feel like such a lush.
