BRF Cakes 72 hours after first pin

Hello guys
Here are 2 cakes that started to pin.
There seems to be some odd white shaped growth on both cakes. Also, there is a dark blue spot on one of the cakes. I dabbed it with a paper towel and there was no stain on the towel. I mist my cakes 3 times a day and fan 3-5 times a day.
This is my first attempt, any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Blue is just bruising probably from handling the cakes, white fuzzy is just myc expanding out. Looks good to me!

Looks maybe a little extra fuzzy, like mine did before I converted my FC to a full SGFC. Is your chamber covered in holes?

Yes I have holes drilled throughout.

Correction: Fuzzy feet is usually an indicator of poor/inadequate fresh air exchange.

DAMN FAE. I figure it's too late to drill bigger holes. Besides fanning more often, what else can I do to help with FAE?

In the pics it kind of looked like the myc was trying to go aerial, which I have been led to believe is also a sign of inadequate FAE?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, as long as you have holes on top and bottom too.
I know for a fact that you can get results with a whole lot less FAE than you probably have there even if the holes are smaller than the recommended quarter inch drill bit size.

If they're not 1/4 inch though, super easy to just redrill the same holes with a bigger bit though.

Yes that could be a reason. Most of the time the mycelium is aerial when it is "reaching" for something. Be it fresh air or water.
I have also seen mycelium that just looks that way.
But if it changes from a strong, healthy mycelium to the wispy mycelium there is usually a reason for it...

How about you build a proper sgfc before you think any truster cultivator is going to help you figure out whats wrong. You need to follow the tek exactly for building one.
Do not half ass it.
It looks like somethings wrong with your cakes or you got perlite on it around the pins.
The myc is definitely aerial mycelium and thats before theres too much humidity in the air and not enough FAE. The mycelium is literally grabbing at the moisture thats in the air. This could also be fixed by simply building the right kind of sgfc instead of drilling random holes in it. Follow the tek. 1/4 inch holes 2 inches apart on all sides top and bottom along with all the sides of it. 5 inches of perlite that has been rinsed properly and hydrated. mist and fan 3 times a day and when you get more use to it you will know when the cakes are needing misted.
They will look dry.
