Good morning my friends. Just getting up and about having some cereal and coffee and getting ready for early morning Aikido and then work. Went out last night with a couple of work friends to Buffalo Wild Wings which is a like a sportsbar/wing chain in the area. Ate lots of friend foods and had a couple beers and some laughs. Still got home at a reasonable hour tho so that was good.
Going to a party at a friend's house tonight. His lady friend is moving down from the bay area and so he's having a celebration. Haven't met her yet so that should be cool.
What's good with you on this Saturday morning?

Nobody even knows what Aikido is, yet you post about it every darn day.
Would you care to elaborate?
I called in sick to work for the weekend as I was coming down with a cold but now I'm fine and even better because I didn't go to work.

Hi
I'm at work and it's slow as fuck cuz of all the rain
So I'm just alternating between bullshitting on the forums and finding things to do
Today marks the first day of my break from weed and I'm feeling pretty enthusiastic about it
Gonna start exercising hard again and gonna look into that Jiu-Jitsu course once I have some more money saved up

Mornin' Shroomery. I'm having some coffee and then I have to hit the books and get started on my homework. After that I'm going to try to pick up some wax from one of my friends. I don't really have any way to smoke it either, but I never see the stuff in my area so I'm going to get some. Then I'll probably make some kind of nail/bong rig afterwards

Hot knives work decently well or if you have a rebuildable atomizer you can just put dabs right on the coil and suck up the smoke with a straw

I'm taking a week break right now too. I've been getting a little more habitual with my intoxication habits lately then I prefer. Pretty much drinking beer and smoking weed every night. Trying to mostly take a break from both right now.
Jiu-Jitsu is cool. I trained in that for a bit until the class I was going to closed and the teacher told me about an Aikido class that had opened up in the area. They are actually pretty closely related arts. Especially traditional Japanese self defense (goshin) jiu jitsu as opposed to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which is more competition based. Brazilian is good, but honestly for an off the mat self defense situation, it can be very dangerous to take your fighting down to ground level as there is often more than one attacker. It is a great competitive fighting system though, and honestly the most important thing is that you enjoy the training.

I just think joining a course like that would be a great support system for me and that's one thing I need because most of my friends are stoners and I'm tired of living that way

Totally. I've made lots of great friends through my martial arts training.

I experienced road rage this morning from an angry driver who decided it was acceptable to come from ten car lengths back and get right up on my bumper going into a toll station. When i left the station he gunned it from a few hundred car lengths back to get in front of me and attempted to force me off the road, and proceeded to follow me while talking to someone on the phone. I really should get a concealed weapons permit, people are absolutely bonkers.

Yeah shooting him probably would have been a good solution to the problem

Thanks. The first one is a pic of one of my cacti that I ran through the dreamscope app. The 2nd is a rather cool one I saw on FB this morning that reminds me of a beach where I have tripped many times.
