I didn't have any rubbing alcohol so I put a little alcoholic type hand sanatizer on the syringes and I flamed the tips on the needles and injected. I did this everytime I injected a new jar. The jars that are colonizing look good so far.

I think ya did it backwards. Flame sterlize then wipe of any residue with alcohol if you didn't use one of those fancy alcohol flames.
But we shall see post pics keep us posted.

Never wipe flame sterilized tools/syringes with alcohol. Flames sterilize alcohol sanitizes. Alcohol is not needed for tools that get flamed, save the iso for your gloves. Also a little soot won't hurt anything, just leave it.

Even if you use a regular lighter on a needle that leaves the black stuff interesting. I read a tek that said wipe it.

Ill try to show you my currrent growth later. Now 5 of the jars instead of 4 are growing myclium. If I cant find my canon camera then i'll have to use a phone camera.

Get a few angles , phone cameras are better this day and age unless yours flips to open.

i have a bad habit of getting it too hot and melting the syringe. im terrible. so i just use presterilized needles in my SAB. works well for me.

Is that all white or is it colored. Bit blurry. Didn't mean for you to tilt the jars to take the pics lol. Disturbing the dry verm layer.

Thats all white. Myclium is growing on the sides of some my jars but on some of my other jars Myclium is mostly growing at the bottom.

12 out of 14 of my jars contaminated. It was mostly cobweb and blue green and black mold. I don't know what happened. Maybe I got some bad syringes. Who knows? I have two jars left that are colonizing. I'm hoping they dont contaminate. One jar is 20-30% colonized and the other one is 75-80% colonized. That jar should be done in a week or two if it doesn't contaminate. Before most of my jars contaminated I was thinking about casing them. The other jar is going to take awhile so I don't think its worth casing if I only have one finished 1\4th pint cake. I'm also not sure if I want to case because I don't want to risk one of my only cakes contaminating under the casing. Do you think its worth it? I was thinking dunking and rolling would be a better idea. I've never dunked and rolled before. What do you do with the cake after you dunk it? Do you litteraly just roll it in the vermiculite or do you grab the vermiculite and put it all over the cake? Does the dry vermiculite stick to the cake just like that or are you suppose to put moist vermiculite on it? If it fruits i'm not even sure if i'll even have enough to trip. Hmm.

Dunking then rolling essentially is casing, but for cakes... roll the wet cakes in dry verm...set em up in your sgfc, let them dry for 20 minutes or whatever so the Verm doesn't get washed off when you mist.

My other jar cotaminated. Now i'm just down to one. That jar started pinning a week ago. My jar wasn't even fully colonized. It still isn't. I think the daylight light and the light from my lightbulb made it pin. I have 5 good sized mushrooms that are growing in my jars invitro. I have other pins. Some stopped growing and others are growing slowly. One of my shrooms's veil's have broken. What should I do? Should I open up my jar and harvest it or wait a day or two so the other shrooms can grow more? When I do open the jars i'm worried that the top could be contaminated. I don't think it is though. If it was then I would think it would have spread and I would have seen it by now. After I harvest them can I dunk and roll the cake even though its not done colonizing? I mean the cake already fruited and everything. I think the jar might have stalled after it started pinning.

It didn't pin because of light. It pinned because it ran into the contamination.

Well you fucked up because you used the words epic and hopefully together. The word epic should be reserved for something, well, epic. No cool man
