They're these:

They're just normal quart jars but with this purple tint. I'll use them to colonize rye grain and maybe some LC in the future.

I want to hear the story of how you accidentally purchased the purple ones when meaning to get regular ones. It must be a real knee slapper seeing as those are the purplest things I've ever seen.

although P. Cubensis is so easy to grow you will get away with it even if the mycelium recieves 0 light during colonization. It is out dated to do this though and we now recommend light during all stages of development.
Why don't you just get crazy though and spend $18 on twice as many proper jars shipped to your door for free or better yet just return those and get the clear ones at walmart. contams and bacteria will be a huge pain in the ass to spot with those. Also burst kernals and moisture content of your grains will be tricky to gauge until you open a few.

His name is flamer and is attracted to purple jars. I don't judge. Just saying.
