What are your favs.
-------------------- I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I've only ever been to the one in Fish Lake Valley. I heard that Alkali Hot Springs is really shitty. Apparently Warm Springs is really nice, but you gotta get permission from the Fallini's. Which you should do, Anna is really nice. But I've never been. I'm probably going to go to Hot Creek Hot Springs in a couple weeks.

Is that Wild Willy's?
Supposedly there's a couple up by Bridgeport where Kerouac used to hang out.

Buckeye is in Bridgeport. It has a hot waterfall that you can shower under with a cave large enough for 5 or 6 people in the biggest pool. If you go there keep it clean though or we will check our trail cams for your license plates, track you down, and drown you in your bathtub in in inch of piss, just kidding but seriously!

The other famous one in Bridgeport is called travertine, I've never been there, but I've been meaning to go since I live fairly close. There is also leviathan and grover if you like to pay $$. You should check out soak.net some of the info is outdated, but there is a a list of all hot springs from the US geological Survey and you can browse by state and long/lat.

This one was okay but crowded. I liked the one near the Mammoth airport better but don't go at sundown. We got eaten alive by mosquitos. we were fine until the sun started going down. I am pretty sure that the photos above with the boardwalk in them are from Mammoth.

IDK about California but I've been to just about every hot spring in Nevada.
My favorite by far (not technically Nevada but depending on where you it might be closer, it's like an hour outside of Vegas) is the Arizona Hot Springs just on the other side of the Hoover Dam right on the Colorado River.
Coolest place ever man, you hike in about a mile in a weird canyon called "White Rock Canyon" and then you get to the beach of the Colorado and you can set up camp there right on the beach.
To get to the hot springs you just follow the beach a little ways and then hike through this gnarly EXTREMELY TRIPPY slot canyon complete with ladders and everything until the slot canyon turns into a bunch of hot pools contained by the canyon.
PPERFECT location to trip, you just set up a roaring camp by the beach with a ccampfire and everything and then just walk a ways to the hot springs.
And there is a big ledge on the canyon where you can jump out into the river (if you are brave enough) and get a rush of cold water after chilling in the springs.
