Finally stumbled across two baby libs in a field yesterday. Didn't have my phone to take pix though. With any luck today more will show their nipply little caps through the grass.
Happy hunting y'all!

Went and scouted out a new location. Glad I did! Left a bunch of little guys behind too. Good little find.

Hahaha.... Definitely not the King this year! I'm heading out tomorrow morning and hoping to find some good looking Specimens for pics! Between Work, Life and a late season with above average temps I've only been out like twice so far.... That's a record low for me in over 20 years of hunting!

Been out a few times this week.... It's still been oddly mild & dry though. Managed to do alright today and find a couple new spots with some older specimens still hangin on! My phone is being a bitch when I connect it to the laptop though... may have to wait until I'm back home to start uploading my pics! Happy hunting though folks!

Looking forward to the pics! I'm also going out this weekend. Going to bring my field kit with me for taking spore prints and keeping everything clean. If you are in the Halifax area this weekend maybe we can explore a few places somewhere.

Any large grassy area can be ideal. Good water retention and drainage are key.

Hey... $hit... I was still away for the weekend. Just got back from a field adventure today though and managed to snag another 50-60 caps. I got a bad feelin the dreaded "White Stuff" (Not cocaine ) isn't too far off. PM me sometime and maybe we can line up a hunt together while there's still a little time! Anyway, Best of luck hunting to everyone and hopefully I'll get some of these pics up this weekend after work! I've really been strugglin' to find the time to upload em!

I think we still have another 2 weeks left in the season before the snow falls or ground begins to freeze. Fingers crossed!!!! Wish it wasn't raining all this weekend or I would go out, I hate hunting in the rain, little buggers are so much harder to find when they are wet and brown.
