Help identifying cactus

Hello All,
I'm new to cactus growing and care but not new to local native medicinal plants, gardening etc. Proper ID is tricky when first getting started.
I'm needing help identifying these cacti. Bought these at Home Depot a couple of weeks ago. Label on the pot said something like "Asstd. Cactus" or Potted Cactus.

I'm thinking I will replant each cacti in their own pot next spring.
As you can see from how they are growing that they are suffering from some deficiencies If I correct this with proper soil, light and water will the top half of the cactus grow out? Or should I cut them and put them each in their own pots? I did do some research on the forums but didn't see anything about the top growing out to match the the bottom once deficiencies are corrected.
Thanks for any and all help.

Once it's that width it'll stay that width no matter what you do.
I would cut them Making 2 cuts on each one and turn those 3 plants into 9 plants "or more depending on the bottom and middle sections ability to pup"
Alst put each of the plants bottom sections in their own pot.

I would separate them, let the roots dry so they don't rot. Then replant in larger pots. Next I would let them sit for a few weeks dry before beginning light ferts. That way you could produce a fat growing tip, and then cut it all up for multiple cacti early in the Spring. I wouldn't cut and root right now.
oh, and they look like bridgesii to me.
Here is an example of some San Pedro from my own garden, that I let the tip fatten up. I will cut it in the Spring.

Whatever species they are - and there are so many ribbed, columnar species - these are markedly etiolated. They need more light !!

I don't know if I explained what I was saying properly. Once you have an etiolated point on a cactus and the growth tip is above it you have no chance to fatten the old growth any.
I find it best to just cut and bury some of the skinnier growth allowing it to root and placing it in full sun to get fatter growth.
Once you have the fatter growth you can continue to bury it deeper allowing more rooting space along the stretched areas and allowing the fatter "more healthy" growth to be seen above the soil.

Old growth will eventually fatten with age, but I agree, it will never catch up with the rest

Thanks for the help everyone. Seems like I was on the right track just wanted to make sure. Looks like I'll definitely be doing some cuttings (haven't decided if I'm going to make 6 or 9 pieces) and repotting each piece individually.

6in cuttings would probably be your best bet from what I can see you have.

personal suggestion is 6 pieces, (so only 3 cuts) cut just where the difference in girth is big, you will get 3 nice pupping short columns and 3 thinner to root. I would not make mor cuts, even if they are long enought, since they are so thin, you might want to play safe.

after thinking about it a lil more.
The main thing to do is to root the thinner cuttings and make sure they get as much full sun as you have available for them.

Thanks for the help everyone.
I'll do some more research on the forums on exactly how to cut and transplant.
I'm in USDA Zone 6 and lows are already dipping down into the upper 40s. So for now I'm going to move these guys into my office at work. I have a huge east facing window where they should get plenty of early morning to midday light.

For those living in Europe, the (hardiness scale) that Wotko, mentioned can be illustrated with the following link to a maps showing color regions
the first image here shows the zones.. https://www.richters.com/show.cgi?page=Zones/Europe.html
the second link here, shows Europe .. and in the left, there is a table that shows the minimum temps in the upper left. Granted, it is not the best image, but with any luck the information may be useful to someone.
