Hi. I have found some interesting mushrooms today and I wanted to have an I.D because if they are edible I'm gonna make some feast

Habitat:
France, Alpes mountains. 1200m high. Grows in hardwoods. (in opposition with resinous I think ?)

Gills:
Color : white-orange-beige, attached, gills/pores

Stem:
Length : up to 7-8cm, diameter : up to 2cm, color : white to light beige, texture : Fibrous and somewhat hollow on mature specimens.

Cap:
Diameter : up ot 7 cm, color : orange, texture : convex or concave (depends on specimens but it"s mostly convex.), dry and "mossy" in the inside.

Spore print color:
Printing in progress.

Bruising:
No bruising.

Other information:
Very strong mushy smell :crazy2:

They look to me like regular field mushrooms! (button mushrooms maybe)

I think they're edible, but I wouldn't trust my field mushroom knowledge 100% unless they were psychedelic lol

Edit: Just noticed you said you found them in hardwood area, probably not field mushrooms then haha

Define 'regular field mushrooms'? Presumably you mean Agaricus campestris, in which case they are not. The gills are the wrong colour for a start.
They look like a Clitocybe or Lepista species

No idea. I'm only familiar with L. laccata and L. amethystina as far as species go. But it's easy enough to identify the genus most of the time.
