People who are CCW holders are a reason for less crime occurring. Criminals don't know who has a gun on them and who does not.

In a "gun free zone", its a safe bet.

I think that is what upsets people about liberals. Criminals will always have their guns. Gun free zones only stop law abiding people from having guns for self defense.

unfortunately, most campuses don't have a giant wall around them. and hireing security and buying metal detectors for every building seems... expensive.

Most campuses already have decently sized overbearing extra-legal security forces at least

apparently that's simply not true, what makes it easy to kill lots of people is disarming the people that need to defend themselves from the ones with ill intent

Meanwhile, 16 people were killed in 12 different shootings just yesterday. This is an everyday occurrence.

Some asswipe called in a threat to Philadelphia colleges...didn't say which one though. Hopefully it's a hoax, and hopefully the joker gets nabbed.

Deptford hasn't changed a bit...2 deaths in one shooting!
*gasp* and in Tennessee, there's a three fold death by shooting, whoa!

stabbings are an every day occurrence
did you know that even though the US has the #1 gun ownership rate we dont even rank in the top 100 countries of gun homicides and that includes the mass shootings

What's your source?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate Show's the rate of gun violence in the US is about 14th,
the 8th most homicides in general - total
Though the rate of general homicide which may be what you're referring to is 111th

The gun debate is something American politicians really love, because it is real easy to score points with it, saying stupid sound bytes and whatnot, while you can avoid talking about the real problems that are the actual cause of these school shootings.
A broken mental health system and a draconian classroom environment are maybe a bit harder to talk about for these fuckers in Washington, so that is why they focus on the guns instead.
Lazy dumbass politicians...
