Need advice for tubs

Ok
So I've been trying my hand with PE over the last couple weeks and this is what the 1st flush in one of my tubs looked like

Came out to roughly 3 oz dry and I am fairly satisfied with the results
However....
In the pursuit of perfection I am trying to seek out different things I can do to give me some bigger fruits and a more even pinset
So a little bit about my process - Took 6 jars of colonized rye and spawned it to bulk in a bulk sub of coir/verm/gypsum - Left a little bit of the bulk substrate aside to provide a casing layer - Waited 10 days to allow the spawn to colonize the bulk sub before applying the casing layer - Fruited immediately after applying the casing layer and two and half weeks later had the fruits that you can see in the above picture - Left a fan on and pointed slightly away from the tub to provide FAE during the fruiting process
One thing I noticed while picking the fruits was the substrate seemed a little dry. Another thing I probably should have done but didn't was place a lamp or light source next to the tub.
Could altering either of these 2 things lead to a better end result moving forward?

Sorry to say I have no advice because I am also on my first mono, and I hate to thread jack but I would rather not make a separate thread for such a minor question:
Is 2 and a half weeks from fruiting conditions to harvest average? Or is it more specific to PE? I put my mono into fruiting today and have to leave town in 2 weeks so im a little worried :/ Its B+ btw
Hope you figure it out OP

if it's dry it can be misted. no one is going to tell you not to get a light. good lookin tub. would say get some agar plates and start cloning if you want to chase perfection.

Looks good and your technique is good too. If you want consistent results then start cloning and isolating on agar.
