Metabolite dilemma

So I'm torn on what to do about these metabolites, almost on day 6 of colonization. No abnormal smell to report on besides the regular smell of mush when i opened the tub to take a pic. Should i leave these pools for now or dab them up with a paper towel? I'll be going out of town on late friday evening (Day 7) until monday evening so I won't be here to monitor and i'm not sure what to do. I know i could maybe fruit it on 7 days and hope the fae will evap some of that up. Any help is appreciated though

If that's the casing layer then I would go ahead and fruit it. But that's just me

there's a piece of corn where the top of it's only partially colonized, and a few tiny tiny patches of barely covered substrate

I didn't think anything was wrong with it, it smelled fine and the water was initially just water when it first started to collect excessively, then turned yellow. I did use a bit much spore solution in each spawn bag as it was my first time which could maybe account for the extra moisture build up?

I don't have any polyfill on hand but i could go to the walmart right now if it's really necessary. Tub smells fine, light mushroom smell. Nothing overpowering or seemingly out of place

if you injected spores directly into your spawn bag thats probably why it's not healthy
you should clean up those spores on agar before you use them on grain

this was my first time growing and agar didn't seem very necessary :S i've seen plenty of people inject spawn bags with spores
the bags colonized fine, with no metabolites or any other bad signs

Too much spore solution is the reason it's too wet? :/.. I think it just needs to get dried up a bit. Probably from the substrate not being at field capacity when you made it. Just get it lots of fae. Keep it glistening/with beads of water. Mist when needed

that would be preferable. but if it were me, i would un-tape 2 of the holes and then go buy polyfill in the morning. (it's inside pillows). just buy a cheap $3 pillow and tear it open
