to fan enough to equal what FAE is, you would need to fan more than 6 times an hour for an average monotub setup.

What substrate are you using? Your monotub filler substrate looks dense, maybe hard for the mycelium to break through to eat perhaps. The ones coming through look healthy though. Be careful over-misting your monotub.
Now I'm going to need to see some picture identification, preferably with your face next to your grow for me to truly help you

Fanning too regularly can sometimes bring in more outsiders than you want in your tub, open seldomly, the polyfil lets it breath more than most are aware. Unless you are stuffing it tough.

doesn't fucking matter it's already been exposed during spawning, leaving the lid off while you're home is a great idea

You're supposed to stuff the bottom holes tightly, that's how humidity is retained inside the tub, to support the right environment for pin formation.

What's been exposed?

Yes I know this, but my top holes barely have any polyfil in them, it should provide enough air to flow freely in...but my fruits tell me otherwise with fuzzy feet. I started to aim my fan closer and closer to the tubs, making sure to not dry the substrate out, but the fuzz continues to grow. I only figured I could loosen bottom holes because I need more FAE and I'm sure my tubs are pretty humid, I have been misting a lot more since I loosened the polyfil.
Should I say screw the polyfil and tape up with micropore tape to retain humidity or keep loose holes for FAE? I believe FAE is more important in my case. If not, what can I do?
Thanks everyone.

Dial in the top holes correctly via Frank's tek. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17332777/fpart/all/vc/1

I'm going to need your name and address in order to see if your tek is better than mine

Im not sure what's going on with my tubs or how to dial in on them. I have followed Frank's tek specifically, but my fruits having fuzzy feet just tell me there's not enough FAE. Also some of my matured fruits have cracks, meaning low humidity right? Idk just going with my gut feeling.
On the bright side, it's like my fruits made a last attempt to get as big as they could while I was at work, came home to pick this Shiva cluster haha!

Hey everyone how are we doing?? I woke up this morning to this great canopy.

These are Mazatapec's on grains. Spawned to a 50/50 of hpoo/straw cased with peat in a dub tub style FC.
This is by far my best tub I've ever done, small sub and small fruits but the pinset was perfect. I got my canopy of little shroomies I've always wanted I'm dunking right now for about an hour to an hour and a half. Don't want to water log it. During my harvesting I created a lot of craters. These suckers were rooted deep! Should I patch with new casing to even it back out? Will the sub focus its energy on trying to recolonize to the new casing instead of pinning again or should I just leave it as is? I dont want to invite contams..but wondering if I could get by. Any help/tips would be appreciated!!

I think you would be better off searching the forum for each separate question you've asked there buddy. You'll get yr answers and learn in the process...not being a dick but that would prob be better for you than getting drip fed

Ouch... That's specialty verm. I only use regular verm. That stuff will work fine. I would store it in.. The bag it came in.
Did you still have a question?
Hahaha haven’t logged on in over 3 years. I had a few laughs reading my younger self. But still, 5 years later I cannot start a new post lol.
On another note I’m just starting up again and found some of Bod’s Teks and am super excited to give it a go.
Spawning 4 Qts of rye to 4 lbs of Hpoo in a 27 qt tub. Substrate was around 4 and a half inches when made up. I’m still hiding it under a blanket for about a week then introducing to fruiting. Thanks for all the write ups!
