Oyster Totems - Year Two Pics 1

Just wanted to show you guy my Blue Oyster totems are still pumping out the mushrooms. Picked seven pounds today.

Tip: Don't even bother with any other type of wood besides soft hardwoods like Poplar/Aspen/Birch. These logs in this picture are all from a large poplar that blew down and took down our power line a few years back.

Thanks!
Those pictures are just the top half of my top outdoor cultivation area. I had already picked the bottom half and was like... "I have not posted any pics in a long time, I should post some..."
I have started drying the extra mushrooms I cannot move at market, and they dry fast... Just one night in the dehydrator between fruit and bacon drying temperature, then one night just below fruit drying temperature.

Congratulations on your repeat success! Those look so tasty. Totems are the way to go over logs imo.

Well, I wouldn't call it a repeat success... It's the same logs as last year fruiting this year. And, the biggest ones should continue on for like six to eight years or so.
Btw, picked nine pounds today...

Totem inoculated. If you search my old threads, I provided full instructions last year.
