All my tubs are Ms and I didn't get a pic of my highest yielding flush of 2.25oz dried with this method. My tubs are 20qt. Btw.

It took 3 days for them all to mature (dead of winter) and thick stipes. I don't use a SAB which means no G2G all inoculations are done in open air.
Which means I want see that Contam ASAP and I feel this helps save time since I'm careless with grains.

This is the end all be all
I do it with coir verm mix. I added extra moisture to the casing layer on my most recent one though because sometimes the coir dries out towards the end of the first flush. Seeing if that will help.

Sup cunts?
I'm going to finally jump on this hoe train now that I have a bit of free time for hobbies. If nothing else maybe doing this will let me squeeze a flush out since my tubs always contam right when they pin (using holes taped)
Yall think the increase in fae during colonization will make mold sporelate sooner or will it just eat until it's ready like mush myc?
I can see this being beneficial for bacteria and splotch sufferers.
Stuffed a tub that was 50% colonized and will make another in the morning before work and fruit at spawning.

I think if the spawn is clean and you mix efficiently, there shouldn't be tons of mold in there anyway. The FAE will probably reduce chances of a lot of bacteria since moisture piling up and pooling is where I think a lot of bac thrives.

So I tried this, just polly at spawning and was convinced I'd lost the tub to contamination due to me being impatient and spawning when not quite 100% colonised.
Two weeks later we have lift off

This is defo the way to go

There must be something I'm missing here. Spawned a tub on the 11th and saw pins on the 21st but yet to harvest.

I deleted a lot of pictures but the gist is still there. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22931541 I think it depends on the culture as well. The Ghostie pinned and fruited in no time, the syzygy was soooooo slow. Fully colonized in under a week, but didn't see pins for at least 3 weeks, and the pins would take 3-4 weeks to develop. It was the most insanely mind bogglingly frustrating thing in the world I'm all, "I'm growing felonies, I don't want them to be decorative, taking a million billion years" I would see the veil stretch after 2-3 weeks and then it be another 2-5 weeks before they opened all the way. I only let 2 or 3 actually open all the way up for prints. The craziest shit.

So correct me if I'm wrong, from what I'm reading this seems like the way to go.
Doing my first monotub soon. PE.
I can just spawn, case and fruit all once? Anyone finding any real downsides to doing it this way?
Thank you.
