Less work lol I would rather cut a bag to 28" and lay it in my tub and be able to do this to harvest than lean over my tubs and break my back trying to cut off 200 mushrooms.

I've got a polyfill colonized tub in fruiting now. Looking forward to the results.
p.s. You may take our tape, but you will never take our liners!

I just spray down the walls and bottom of the tub with my 1:10 bleach water and the liner sticks to it really nicely, no tape needed. Tuck a few loose ends into the lid, colonize, case it, and cut it down.
Not sure why, but my water sprayer didn't do it. Maybe cause the mist is finer, maybe bleach changes the adhesion properties somehow, idk. I'm lazy and I don't think a tablespoon of bleach water is gonna do shit.
I posted about this a while ago, but can't find the post. Regular water works for me, but I usually use a diluted Lysol spray. I still cut the liner, but it's way easier to get the bag to sit still for spawning with water.

thats a great idea stare. you should keep a thread in a journal with a bunch of notes and add that. like the toothpick transfer pic.ect. pm me if you set it up.
i just lay mine in there. when i flip my turkey tins with subs over, i use the other hand to hold the liner to the side if one side is leaning over. after some practice it becomes clockwork.

I kinda figured I wasn't the only one who knew about this. Gotta be a lot of people sanitizing tubs before putting liners in. The first time it happens you're like , where have you been all my life water droplets?
I just cut all three edges off a large black trash bag, and have found half is about perfect. Cut the edges down after casing.
--------------------
I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

I have a working set of notes with 10 random tips and things I picked up after a year of cultivating. I'll definitely shoot it to the Tribesmen before posting it. Just need time to get accompanying pictures.

Gonna need to harvest that first one soon. Should be pretty decent given a low spawn ratio. The other one is putting out an uneven early flush but the pinset coming in is gonna be killer I think, I hope

Okay so I had to harvest 2/3s of this tub cause sporesplosion was immenent and I don't want to harvest tomorrow morning. Yield is not the best I have gotten from this clone, but its nothing bad either. I think that if I wait a bit before stuffing top holes to "initiate fruiting", I might get a touch more even a flush. Still all told I ain't complaining about the 5 quarts I used for this one. Will be back with final conclusions tomorrow.

Alright azur the results for my first clone run with this are in. The rest of flush 1 was just harvested and came in at 1299 making for a total wet weight of 3203. A bit low but nothing terrible considering this was just 5 quarts spawn. Should do better when I roll with 6 or 7 quarts spawn and sterilize the coir or even toss in some poo and other goodies. The pics of both harvests for this tub are. . .

I think that with a few tweaks I should get a more even pinset next time and my usual yield with this clone. I will post those results next time I run it. My other tub with the really early pin is also coming in really uneven, yet looks to be a great yield in the making.
At any rate this practice has lots of merit IMO. Thank you

Nice pasty. Yea. Not bad for 5 quarts. The question though, is, how much time did you shave off?

Fuck yes. Thanks for participating dude. If you can tweak it to your environment, might be the way to go.
