90% sure I got this from some wild wavy caps I was messing with and now every thing I do ends up with it I've changed all of my processes from a SAB to a flowhood, bottles to bags, new vendor ,rye to wheat I soak my grains for 24 hours before I cook for 90 minutes at full 15 psi I'd like to get an idea what kind of contamination this is so I can better focus on it

the first pic may or may not be bacteria
the second pic may or may not be a contaminant (it might be mycelial waste)
i can't really tell from the pics; maybe if you post a close-up...

yeah, sounds like it
from gooey slime i tend to think bacteria
i would look for uncolonized substrate, too much water (esp. standing water), too high temperatures and too much co2
oh, also -- proper sterilization techniques (had to throw it in, just in case)

lysol *is* mostly alcohol, iirc
but yeah, 70% or 90% alcohol or 2% bleach for surfaces, etc.

I made up 20% bleach water to soak some contaminated things in after a couple days it had a jelly skin layer and blobs of green mold floating around and growing on the surface so I dont Believe in bleach anymore.. Lol
