Shroom noob over here!

Hello peoples! I'd just like to say thanks in advance for allowing me to post among fellow shroomites. I hope to start being an active part of this community and start getting involved and shit.
I'm a resident of the UK and live in Yorkshire near Hull. A few friends and I recently went picking. We checked out Priory road among the pastures and farmland, and we also decided to go to Beverley Westwood. These places are both supposedly pretty renowned for being good spots, but in the course of 12 hours, we found 8 mushies, and each one was completely in solitude and miles apart from the next.
I've done a lot of reading around the subject, but I just had a few questions that some of you could hopefully answer:
1.) I've read a lot about "deadly lookalikes", but I've yet to actually find any in the UK. Are there any deadly (toxic) mushies that have the characteristic nipple, same size and shape, the curved bell shape, light grey/brown colouring, dark gills, rubbery texture and slimy coating? The lookalikes I've heard of don't really look like liberty caps whatsoever, and you'd have to have a severe case of stupid to pick them, but it's always good to be extra safe. I'd just like to know, as it could provide a little more leniency / peace of mind!
2.) Have I come at the wrong time / wrong place? I've heard now is the perfect time to pick. Are there any recommend spots? I've heard the North Yorkshire moors are great, but I obvs don't want to make the journey if it's not worth it (I'm very busy and skint).
3.) Are liberty caps the only psychedelics in the UK? I've heard there are others, but I keep getting mixed and conflicting answers wherever I look!
Help would be much appreciated happy picking!

I can answer the third one for you. We also have Psilocybe cyanescens and Panaeolus cinctulus. I've found the former.

Don't worry about the "Deadly lookalikes", if you are unsure of your finds just post clear pictures and info and a reliable id will eventually emerge. Libs and Cyans are very distinct in look, if you find them you will know there not just normal mushrooms.
