Thanks for the links man!! I'll be checking those out for sure.
And I would start growin some green, but the setup costs are at least $500 to start, not to mention I still live with the 'rents so they wouldn't be too happy about the whole house smelling like weed
Also getting seeds shipped to my house from a vendor in Europe seems, idk, a bit on the sketchy side

I got lucky, I had them shipped to the good 'ole gma.
She calls like "Gyo..." "Hey gma." "There's a package here from Europe for you." "Oh... Okay, I'll be there to pick it up." "Okay... Why are you ordering packages from Europe for yourself to my address...?" "Hey grandma, can you cook me up some cookies?" "Oh sure I'll get right on that!"
Forgets the whole thing . If I don't trust the source I'll get prints shipped out there too, the fuck are the cops gonna do, run up on a 84 year old woman in her apartment?

Yeah I could do that or just get it shipped to a PO box and pick it up there. It's not really illegal to get the seeds, but if customs agents see it, then they will confiscate it. Not sure of the legal repercussions of getting caught with seeds. I guess they'll just give you a warning and have your address on file idk
Have you ever run into problems like that before? I guess I'll have to find a trustworthy vendor. I hate buying weed from fake ass friends who always jack up the prices. I wish it was recreational here already, it's some BS. Can't find myself decent weed, only choice left is to grow it! Lol

Seeds are illegal, I think if a cop searched your car and found weed and seeds they might up the charge and try to get you on cultivation or attempt at cultivation. Customs hasn't seized a package I've ordered yet and I ordered a lot of seeds , key is to just make one or two big purchases of seeds, get garunteed delivery where they'll send you out another if it gets seized.

I'll you some good seedbanks

Thanks for the help, that was a major thing that's been holding me back in starting up a small grow. I have plenty of strains in mind that I wanna start with.

There are 15 mini "petris" in that container. It was all done in a microwave. Growth can be seen in the last picture. The first photos are when it was out of the microwave and still full of condensation. 2/15 appeared suspect, so I injected hot salt water directly on top of them, as much salt as would dissolve in boiling water, in fact more salt as the syringe had undissolved salt in it. You can see I have SHIPs above all of the "dishes".
The salt water appears to be fully absorbed into the agar now. I guess salt pulls moisture out of stuff and transfers into the agar readily. It was not in a particularly dry or warm place.
EDIT: I was mistaken, the salt water was not absorbed, I was looking at the tray the wrong way around.

I had to get the stuff out of my parent's house today because I don't own it anymore, and I came across this gem
It's a maitre's PC, this thing has to be old as shit. Never herd of it, do they even make these now?
Looks like it is in good shape seal and all. Not very big, holds 5 pint jars. Will be great for doing some pints for g2g, pp5s, slants and sterilization of other stuff instead of using the big PC.

Nice! That's a pretty sweet deal man, especially considering what you said they go for up there

This is next on my list, its in the same shop I got my ice cube tray and container.
I will have to check if it is PP5, I know some in the range are not. There are "12 dishes" in it
I could have similar SHIPs over each dish and put in agar after boiling water in it in a microwave.
For UK guys these are £1 in poundland, but check for PP5.
Even if its not PP5 I will probably get it and sanitize it with a bleach/vinegar/water solution. I did this on some previously contaminated plastic disposable petris and they have new agar in them for about a week now and look fine.

Not yet, I've been running grain in my PC exclusively lately. I need to start using bags.
I'm going to make some soon though. I originally purchased them because of blindingleafs recommendation.
