I don't think it's hard to believe.
I live on Native American land.
I am affiliated with many Natives, even ones who hold sweat lodges and vision quests and other ceremonies all the time.
All I said was that he ignored my question after he asked people to ask him questions about Native Americans lol
He is a new member.
A lot of new members are just trolls claiming to be someone else to fuck with people.
And I ask a legitimate question and somehow this got turned around on me
OP is the most defended new member I have seen yet.

Native culture isn't so cynical like Western culture. He is capable of defending himself, but out of my own curiosity, I'd like to see him not run off.

Perhaps the native culture wasn't cynical enough.

I wasn't speaking from my perspective of our culture, just this being Shroomery and all.
And I'm honestly curious as well. I wasn't even trying to be a dick, it was just an observation.
I'm interested in another perspective of the things i've been around because there has been a lot of talk about "fake/plastic shamans" exploiting Native culture for monetary purposes.

Protip: If they call themselves a shaman and they're not siberian, raise your suspicion.

Siberia is the origin of the term "shaman". People use it to describe other medicine men, etc just because it's an easy term to lump all these sorts into

Shamans are siberian holy men. Here in the Americas we have different names for them.

Think natives use healer or medicine man more so then shaman. I guess they can all be interchangeable.

Jews are white. Native American Indian are brown.
Hitler is bad because he was killing white jews
America is good because it was killing brown skinned native american indians.
Really? Skin color is what decides if something is evil or not?

I'm native american as well, and there are quite of bit of misconceptions about native americans. More so than any other race.

Also btw, native americans aren't a single "shade". Tribes varied so much, there were natives nearly pale, and there were natives who were darker. But that fact is even more exaggerated today due to mixed natives being the norm.

It's all fucked up.
Yeah man. It's the pricks in power who are always pitting brother against brother. We're all a bunch of slaves! How long are we gonna let them push us around? How many more generations will fight and hate their brothers because a few people at the top of the pyramid don't know when the fuck they have enough?
