Growing in a yard from the roots in massive quantities. It look like it might be some type of Gym?

Also... I think these are honey mushrooms and they were found in a different environment. Can someone please confirm?

Thanks. For the second set of pics? Or are they both armillaria tabescens?

Very well, how do they taste in your opinion?

They are not bad....just make sure to cook them thoroughly....I have had them sauteed in butter wit garlic....I saute them until they start to crisp.....about 15 min.

With or without stems?

Idk what I did wrong. I grabbed a few of them that were closest to their prime, cooked them in butter and added a little bit of salt. Bit into a cap and I got a very bitter flavor. I didn't finish eating it and threw the rest that I had cooked out.
