hey guys ,i have 2 nice salvia plants they were really going great outside. they are probably like 2 foot and a half but winter is comming. saw some red on the side of a leaf. so i took it inside 3-4 days ago. but right now they doing not that great.
since next year salvia is gonna be illegal in my country i will not be able to order new cuttings for next year. so its important for me that i keep them alive till next summer. how should i do it? will she do well next to a window or like side of the window so she has no direct sun ? and what about air flow and humidity for adult plant?
im i better taking some leaves since it will already lost them from the change of environment ? does the browning and curling destroy salvinorin?
also should i do cuttings maybe just to make sure i dont lose it ?
thanks!

I usually keep mine near a window, or under some simple lighting (CFL or flouro tube). They don't grow too much during the winter for me, but they live. Since you are going to be changing their environment, I would expect to see a bit of a negative reaction, but as long as they are healthy, I don't see why they wouldn't live.
I might take cuttings if it were me, just to be safe. IDK how much exp you have taking cuttings of sally (they are easy peasy), but I would go ahead and put whatever cuttings you take in the approximate location you are going to keep them for winter to go ahead and let em adjust before the weather goes to crap and the sunlight gets hard to come by.
That's just me though.

No problemo, bud. Everybody seems to take sally cuttings differently. Some go straight to soil with em, some do a glass of water. I personally have a little bubble cloner I made out of a plastic coffee can and a fish tank air bubbler. I think all ways are fine as long as the cutting is healthy and happy when you cut it.
Here's mine rooting-
