There is Dr. Condoleezza Rice, Dr. Ben Carson and Major General Colin Powell to name a few, but you get called "House Nigger" and "Uncle Tom" alot.

I wonder if Justice Thurgood Marshall had to deal with that.

Better stick with "entertainment", lots of respect there

My favourite black guy is this guy I know from the Cape Verde islands. He stayed in my house for a month and a half while he was doing illegal work.
Good times.
He could roll joints like a damn machine, and he also loved Star Trek.

He was black, though, so that makes it special.
His ancestors, you see, lived near the equator, where the sun's power is super hard core. So they retained their melatonin that my ancestors lost when they moved into the colder asshole climates of Europe.

Unfortunatly both our ancestors passed on genes that made us uneasy around people that look different from us, a trait that may have saved many lives in the stone age.
Luckily, some people are smart. Like, really smart.
I'm not saying Einstein levels, but not fucking retarded either.
So some people can look at this uneasy feeling and get the fuck over it like the grown men we are and see the common humanity we all share.

This is the thing. This is why racism.
Ever wanna grab a racist by his neck and scream at him until he's no longer retarded?
I feel that every day.

I do work in IT, tho. So that is just part of my job.
Anyway my friend went back to the Cape Verde islands and now he has a tourist trap shop and is doing pretty well for himself.
I might visit him and others from his village that I know this winter, or maybe I'll stay in the Netherlands and visit my mum, I don't know yet.

Which Star Trek? Anything after TNG is lame, except the one with Scott Bakula. He was on point

This thread is not as predictable as Asante suggested

It is clearly as bad as he suggested though.
