It doesn't surprise me that he is lacking in detail.

He says "No corporation should get taxed twice."

Did you even read it? You can't be a POS and make billions

Also, he says that all all the deductction and loopholes for the rich will be eliminated therefore leaving no choice but to pay his 25% tax. No more weasling your way out of taxes through deductions and such

Exactly. I read it earlier today before I read this thread. Patlal you're spot on. This tax proposal is a win for everyone.

Yes I did read it.  He says he wants to tax repatriated overseas profits albeit at a lower rate.  Double taxation.  And so far it is just a one time thing.  There is a distinct lack of detail in this proposal.  He also would not have the authority to do it even if he was president.  That is under the control of Comgress.  His role would be to propose and approve what Congress passes.  Or veto it.  That is it.  The President cannot do more than that.

Yeah just like obama just "proposed" the iran nuclear deal right? Lets not fool ourselves presidents can basically legislate. Also he would keep foreign tax credits in place. "No company should face double taxation." Come on, Zap. Don't ingore things right in front of you cause you don't like the guy. My bet is you would greatly benefit from this plan. And now that walkers out, who are you in favor of, btw?

That's unrealistic and the exact type of hard-right bullshit that leads to an unwilligness to compromise. Trumps plan is moderate and a win for everyone.

A large chunk of every presidential promises from every candidate always have to pass the scrutiny of Congress anyway.

You're abusiness man. You pay 35% right now (unless you have found loopholes). You should be ecstatic right now.

Plus someone is finally doing what I've been saying for years now. Instead of high taxes forcing corporation to give minimal salaries in order to pbe profitable, which then forces employees to need foodstamps. Lower the corporate taxes so they can give better wages and keep prices stable therefore reducing the need for foodstamps.

It makes sense IMO

not like having a liberal president did anything anyway they only punish brown people and mentally retarded kids
I think Trump 'get's it' so to speak, he knows how to deal with losses..

i wouldn't care, while Hilary is probably a decent human being I just want someone that will keep their noses out of other countries wars and not spout grandiose dreams for 8 years that have a snowball's chance of passing or succeeding

if he build's a fence along the northern border with "fuck off" signs every where as well he's got my vote
canadians can't bear impoliteness

They mostly aren't. The largest corporations and the wealthiest in the world usually provide the most for other citizens. They employ a majority of workers and basically keep our country afloat. Twighead, answer me this. How much money to you earn per year? Under trumps plan, say you earn less than $25,000 or if you're married and jointly make $50,000 or less, you literally get to keep all of it! 0% tax rate! And the next income bracket up is up to $100k and only a 10% tax. The tax break for the bottom most income bracket alone frees nearly 50% of all households in america of any income tax. This is certainly a win for the little guy. And hey, to pay for your tax break, trump will tax the HUGE corporations that cheat the system and leave all of their profit over seas instead of reinvesting into the american people with a one time repatriation tax and will lower our tax on businesses down 20% to bolster small business growth and allow the huge corps to move our long lost jobs back home from foreign countries finally. The corportations and highest earners will actually pay more in the long run because the loopholes will be shut down and the low taxes allow them to make a higher profit margin which in the end yields more tax revenue than taxing them at 90% and driving all business and investment money away. Sure you get a higher percentage of it but there is so much less. Cut taxes for everyone, bolster the GDP and in the end EVERYONE including the government will make more money.

I am not interested in compromising with morons.  Corporate profits should be taxed as personal income when the owners receive them personally.  Trump's plan is moronic.  It is also a huge sop to the bum class.  No income tax at all for under 25K single and under 50K joint?  Fuck that.

They exist for profits.  They have a fiduciary duty to their shareholders, aka people, to try to maximize them within the boundaries of the law.  Let me repeat a term there.  Fiduciary DUTY.  If they abdicate that duty they get sued by the shareholders who are, I repeat, actual people.
