Ok, guys, an update on how am I proceeding:
Since my neighbours cows which graze in the meadow are taking water from the creek, I have refrained to the second option: I've taken spore prints on paper (didn't want to waste the caps) and have put these under the selectively positioned cow pies in the portion of the field on which no semis where growing this year. This part is a low land with ability to gather more water than the surrounding area. I have watered everything a little bit and that's it.
I guess, next autumn will give a clue if that was a success?
