Excercise and LSD tolerance?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about LSD tolerance and physical excercise?
I tripped twice this weekend, and I'm running low on tabs and I'd like to space them out but I'd also like to trip again next weekend if I can.
Does anyone know if running or weightlifting will help decrease tolerance? I've read that two weeks is the magic number, but I can't seem to find anything about physical excercise helping or not.

Nah its all a mental thing. Youll be good by next weekend.
Hey, be careful with this one, an old school family told me this and it works. Thr night before you trip, down 2 of the energy shots with B12 in them.
God forbid you take B12 the day of, the trip is going to get wicked strong.

Ok, cool. I'll look into that. I drink a lot of coffee as is, so I should be good on the energy shots.
If my last trip was this past Friday; should I wait until after next Friday?(this Friday coming) or could I trip on Friday night?

And why exactly would physical exercise do anything for your tolerance? I don't think exercise causes any up regulation of 5HT receptors.

Excercise releases endorphins which bind produce said chemicals.
Not to mention excercise allows for a higher rate of detox considering metabolism is affected.
Theory being, that mass producing natural endorphins in addition to aiding the detox process would result in a "cleaner" mind.

Clearer mind. Right. Tolerance issues arise from receptor regulation. Endorphins don't bind nor produce 5-HT receptors. So you don't have to hit the gym before your next flight.

I know this experiment was done with rats, and only because you gave me a detail I could google am I offering a counter argument:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/9000156/
Interesting. I think I'll try it just to see what happens.

Im talkn about the energy shot that contain massove quantities of B12. You wont be drinking em for the energy, that B12 is going to make all sorts of endorphin secreations in your brain when you add the LSD to your system.

Interesting. Sounds good.
Check this out too if you guys can and tell me what you think. I may be correct in thinking there's a connection between excercise and decreased LSD tolerance:

A healthy active person is a happy clear head person. So exercising could produce benifit for your trip. Since it does for the sober mind.

From that articles abstract:
Quote:
Lastly, the hypothesis that training and/or acute exercise triggers changes in 5-HT receptors has been examined in several studies; actually, both positive and negative results have been reached. Taken together, all these data support the need for future studies on the functional effects of exercise on 5-HT, including those related to the hypothesis that the positive mood effects of exercise rely (partly or totally) on central serotonergic systems.
So it has been studied quite a bit but no relation was found. Otherwise you wouldn't get both positive and negative results.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I used to be a very active runner and weightlifter until I started tripping three weeks ago. I just stopped running this last week, and noticed that me tolerance seemed to not change much in a week. I still tripped, but not to the point where I experienced ego death and loss of self. This was also the only week I didn't run daily.
I'm wondering if there's a connection, or if it's just bad luck time for my tolerance. Could be both I suppose. But based on the finding of that scholarly article I think I'll atleast try it. I just don't want to waste my acid .

Goldeneye, but they were able to find some benefit. I'm not at all saying you're wrong, I just find this very interesting now.
The article also states:
"...that compete with tryptophan for uptake at the blood-brain barrier level, tryptophan enters markedly in the brain compartment. However, this marked increase in central tryptophan levels increases only to a low extent brain 5-HT synthesis, as assessed by the analysis of 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid levels, thereby suggesting that exercise promotes feedback regulatory mechanisms."
Maybe there's a slight connection? :o.

Here's a good article too. Sorry to triple post.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/8153173/
I'm really interested in this now! I'm going to try and do more research. I'm curious if anyone else that has some acid would like to experiment on this theory with me?
