"middle-class Americans would receive a 2.9% income boost while the top 1 percent would get an 11.6% income boost"
This is the most retarded tax plan I've heard in a long time, since we currently have the largest wealth and income inequality in 80 years, Bush wants to make it even LARGER!!

Taxation is a HUGE contributing factor to our abysmal income inequality, glad you agree.
Also, has Trump released a tax plan? I know Jeb's is retarded and apparently Carson's is based on the old testament

Obama didn't really raise taxes, he let the Bush cuts expire. Although I guess if you ask Obama or SCOTUS, the ACA is a tax.

So he raised taxes... Twice... And btw, the ACA is the biggest tax increase on middle class in many many years...
But who cares about the middle class, right?

Bush's plan might have worked to generate economic growth maybe 30 years ago, but it wouldn't work today since the wealthy don't reinvest their capital gains back into the US economy, they basically hoard it.
Once the wealthy hoard the profits from labor or choose to invest it in a foreign land, the capitalist model starts to break down and that's essentially what we are approaching today.

Do liberals really picture the wealthy as Scrooge mcduck rolling around in a room full of money?

Well, there's a rational reason why the wealthy are not investing and the banks aren't extending credit into the economy, they know it's structurally damaged.
Why is it structurally damaged? The bottom 70% have declining purchasing power and horrible balance sheets (no savings and piles of debt), no rational investor would make long term investments in that type of economy.

Sounds like a decent plan, I would even take it one step further, no SS tax on the first $75,000.
Let people take home the large majority (90%) of their paycheck, instead of cutting it to pieces.

Bush's plan is almost like Trump's... But he published it 2 days later. You would think he would have used different wording than Trump, but nope. Pretty much the same.

and ah no, if you maintain a status as a law abiding citizen, it most certainly is, however the article only cites the penalty for not having health insurance as the "tax" so while certainly paying a health insurance company is not a "tax", the repercussions of obamacare has certainly impacted the middle class more than most other govt overreaches...
and as matter of fact, all the added taxes in the bill, do you not think those costs are passed down to the consumer?
currently I pay 360$ a fucking month, thats up from the 100 a month before the fucktard in chief decided to play with the lives of 300 million people, it boggles my mind how people still support this douchebag...

So you must have a major issue with the SS cap?
