i am growing without HEPA. mycel to woodchips is easy. but what about germinating spores?
i heard germinating woodlovers on woodchips nearly takes ages.
maybes it is easier to use unsterile leaves for germinating woodlover species.
what do you think? does it makes sense buying woodlover spores without sterile env.?

Maybe you could use brown rice?
Glancing at a patent for morels I have the authors used wheat berries.
They mention it can be supplemented with other organic and inorganic nitrogen sources (read that as: urea) and vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates.
What are you trying to culture?
I would definitely be sterile at this stage.
Just use a pressure cooker to sterilize stuff.
I'm sure if you do a search here on pressure cooker it'll turn up a lot.

I think about getting psilocybe serbica OR bohemica spores.
I have already a pressure cooker. But a HEPA-Filter is missing. Also i have no sterile-Box.
So my Idea just putting the spores on some leaves, or as you mention, brown rice, or wheat berries and i don't need a sterile box or a hepa-filter.

You don't need them in the first place, but they can help.
You *can* do it without but you need good sterile technique.
Then again, plenty of people have been successful this way.
Glove box isn't a requirement.
If you are using bags, the bag should be closed / sealed.
If you are using jars there should be a layer of vermiculite on top, protecting it.

They can be fitted with a tyvek sleeve so you don't need to seal them but i have never tried it myself

wouldn't that defeat the point of having a filter patch, though?

With 0.2 micron bags presealing them before PCing will cause them to explode. Even 0.5 micron bags are risky, I have presealed them successfully but they still will run about a 25% of a blowout. Sterilizing with a tyvek sleeve prevents this and allows one to seal it after sterilization or inoculation.
No one is going to use a tyvek sleeve in lieu of sealing after sterilization.
